This song instantly hooked me in with that intro, which on my first listen JUMPSCARED me, and sometimes still does today, but I'm never angry because this song IS SOOO GOOOD. I love how the sample is woven into Jim’s flow, similar to “I Love You, I Hate You” by Little Simz. I heard and liked one NewJeans song before this, that being "New Jeans". This beat is WACKY as hell, but highly enjoyable. not much substance in lyrics but who the hell cares, it's K-pop, it's a commercial product designed to be incredibly catchy, and this is far from an exception.

This swept into my rotation over the last two weeks, and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. This perfectly captures how someone can help you out of a slump and lift you up. Every element from the bass to the drums feels cleansing to the SOUL. This song always puts a smile on my face when listening to it, heck, I’m smiling while listening to it while reviewing it!

A rap album with all the feels, this is some HEAT the production HAS NO MISSES ARGUE TO THE WALL. The flows from JID are IMPECCABLE. The topics discussed and storytelling alongside that reinforce this rating, especially 2007 which was so vivid in my head, and was topped off with a beautiful message from Cole. My favourite peggy song. THE BEAT AHHHHH I LOVE IT SO MUCH every time I listen to it, my mood is INSTANTLY lifted. Peggy is Emotionally and Unapologetically honest on this. This song deserves all the love letters it receives.

Undeniable banger. EsDeeKid’s scouser accent and rhyming scheme brings a very unique and infectious sound to the album, but what works best is wraith9’s production. Every single beat BAAANGS, though Dirty and Panic are close from being ok. The features kill it, especially Fimiguerrero on Tartan, which is a very close second to 4 Raws, a perfect intro which sets the vibes for the album perfectly.

I don’t think I was the intended audience for lil hero, but nonetheless, I am hooked. This is such a fun ass album that I genuinely and just ashamed that it’s 16 minutes, because I WANT MORE!!! The songs are catchy and addicting and the vocals fit the vibes perfectly. Needless to say, I will wait patiently for the next release from her.

now THIS is experimental hip-hop if i’ve ever heard it. I’ve never listened to an injury reserve album but I enjoyed this. I think some sounds worked a lot better than others, but overall I’m excited to see the direction these two take next.

I like the instrumental buildup, but like i’m wanting a little more oomph out of it yk? Hopefully there’s more singles of similar if not higher quality before the album releases. Vibes are immaculate regardless

idk this guy doesn't do much for me, as voice is such an important factor in me enjoying an artist, and he didn't do it for me. It was constant feeling of "is there going to be another sound? "as it needed some extra oomph to it. Denzel's charisma carries this with pure charisma from it being blander, with Peggy producing this and not even rapping furthering the "meh" that I feel from this. Lyrics were fine.

This is the most simple good album ever made. if someone gives this a listen and tell me they don't like a single track off of it, I will comically fall over attempting to punch them, creasing my ankles and my Jordans that don't even fit me anymore, which will lead to an extremely justified arrest, because it will be on sight.
Anyways really good album the progression is amazing❤️
