Might be Mitski's weakest album. While some of Mitski's performances can be truly fascinating, others are rather sloppy. Most of the songs on this album felt hollow.

It may be more unbalanced compared to "Hellfire", but it is an album that has at least as much abundance. No song on the album disappoints greatly. Almost every one of them is full of incredible peaks. The sounds are more appropriate than the first album.

Compared to their latest album, it seems a lot more disorganized and flimsy. One of the reasons for this is that unnecessary sounds are added and the added sounds have little harmony with the others.
We can divide this album into three. We can consider this album as a mixed album with great, average and bad songs. I love the work of the band, but not the songs in their first albums.

The probability of recurrence is very high. I'm looking forward to the album. Both versions were great but I liked this one better.
It's a worse version but still feels great. It deserves the long time.
I agree with some of the negative criticisms of the songs, they really didn't give enough importance and effort.
- Screaming Suicide : 7,75/10
- Lux Æterna : 7,25/10
It would be better if such a remix did not exist.
Compared to the "Deathconsciousness" album, it's not good at all. It was a mistake to keep it this long from the beginning.
With this new album, much of the joy seems to have been lost, though not entirely. It's okay if it doesn't look like their old albums, but the songs here are not that interesting.

Most of the additions on the album are both unusual and adaptable to the song. But "Singer-Songwriter" makes the album more boring. The tempo of "Paper Bag" is too slow. Rescue efforts had little effect. The content of the songs feels incomplete. Repetitions are nice but a bit overdone.

UPDATE : 79 --> 85
I realized the songs were more solid than I thought.
"To the Blade" is an incredible record. After her regular debut, it continued to fascinate with her great vocals and enduring notes. What a song! "Fortune 500" is a song that doesn't show its full potential and is somewhat underestimated. (compared to other songs on the album) As you continue to listen to the song, you are given the opportunity to experience great moments.

Nice try but the sound felt erratic so I couldn't take it seriously.

- The simplest explanation for being better than their album Origin of Symmetry is that they never missed the second half this time. Moreover, there are many underrated and one exaggerated song in the album, in my opinion.
"Take a Bow" is one of the best album openings.
The album is quite enjoyable and satisfying from my point of view. I was able to connect more with the album because it had catchy and consistent songs. I haven't quite finished Muse's amazing ... read more
This album is much better and more impressive than the singer's latest album "Fetch the Bolt Cutters".
This album has that Fiona performance that I need and is praised by everyone. It doesn't even have anything to do with that unbalanced and scratchy-sounding performance on his last album.
I don't know what Fiona is still capable of, this is just my 2nd listen, but this album is good enough to give the "art pop" quality I want very well.

Art Pop? I didn't expect it to be such a boring album. I didn't like that it was much quieter than its competitors.
Actually, although the second half started to give some of my wishes, the album was already finished.
I finally found an album worth listening to in 2023. While the peak and consistency were much better in the first half, it progressed without much deterioration in the second half.
"Overnight Train" was actually a pretty good song.
It's not very effective except for a few songs, so it's a very low-permanence album.
