Obscure Polish progressive death metal demo. The bass often sounds a little weird imo but I think this is still pretty enjoyable.
It's on YT btw
Noisy South Asian war metal. It's aggressive as fuck and heavy as shit. No adjectives fit better.
If you know me, you will know I absolutely love theatrical, grandiose and kind of exaggerated music like this.
Devil Doll is one of my favourite prog discoveries, but I first have to listen to their full discography (well, their available discography) and then decide which of their works is their best in my opinion. I will not rate this now, because of that.
Possibly one of my favourite black metal albums of all time. Absolute classic and a true masterpiece.
Apparently people complain about Carl-Michael Eide's voice? I think it's incredibly important for the album to feel like it does. The first track, for example, wouldn't be as impressive to me without those eerie phantasmagorical vocals.
I would probably do a longer review but can't think of much more to say. Maybe sometime.
Really good polish black metal! Not much to say, it's black metal and that's all.
This might become a new favourite. Memphis-style production combined with dungeon synth works incredibly well to create a truly unique and engaging dark atmosphere that I can't help but love.
This is an obviously purposefully bad album but it's still laughable. Just the absurdity of fucking Peste Noire making “hip hop” makes me not completely hate this.
Very strange genre tags, anyway it's pretty good. Don't know if I would call this black metal, but it's great classic metalcore and worth the listen.
Virtually perfect. Intense and beautiful, with quite a lot of guitar solos that work amazingly. Don't even know what else to say, I loved this a lot.
Holy fucking FUCK.
This might be THE most absolutely insane black metal album I have listened to. While the production is really low quality, it helps enhance the utterly chaotic nature and whole terrifying atmosphere of the record. This quickly became one of my favourite black metal albums of all time.
Thanks @ezkaton2000 for the recommendation I see you also recommended it to a bunch of other people haha.
Amazing and extremely brutal blackened death metal. The Nephilim Rising might be one of the best DM songs ever.
I don't really have that much to say, but I enjoyed it a lot. Don't know why I've been sleeping on this band for so long.
Turtle :3
Very light-hearted and pretty dungeon synth. A guaranteed good time.
