The album that started my whole music obsession.
This album is so very special to me, it was my first taste of so many different genres. Longer, more progressive songs like Citizen Erased and Space Dimentia played a large part in my interest in Prog Rock and Metal, which got me into bands like Porcupine Tree, and later Tool and Opeth. Thanks @abioticbomb for reccomending me this. I have loved Broken Torso for a while now, I love them a lot. Their sound has such a great mix of melody, groove, and blasts. I'm extremely excited for the CD reissue.
Best mixing ever in my opinion, the snare sounds incredible and the double bass is extremely pummeling.
For a while this album didn't fully click for me, that was until I bought the CD. The version of the album on spotify which is part of 'Recollections of Tragedy and Misery' has such horrendous vocal mixing that it really brought the album down. But wow, the OG CD version sounds absolutely incredible, its one of the heaviest tones I've ever heard.
