was a little boring towards the last half but i dont think anything they did here was necessary as derivative of brat as people say - i mean i think it has similar sounds but there's some other instrumentation going on here that we didnt see on charli's record. i do think demi makes better rock/pop-rock music so i would like to see more of that but otherwise their strongest album in years imo.

this disappointed me in many ways - it started out super strong but faltered toward the end. rip.
despite the production and vocal issues, she is unapologetically herself on this record - which is a breath of fresh air compared to her newer projects. this is taylor swift being taylor swift
was going to give this a 65 but victory lap was saurrr good it gave it an immediate +5 from me

"@Normanalee i have listened to this album several times since and my opinion remains the same. i think its fine that you like this album more than kala, i just prefer the production and the stylistic choices of kala, arular, and vicki leekx more. i think its okay and normal for me to have a different opinion about art than you. also i grew up hearing songs more from the latter three - so a lot of my opinion is rooted in that. sorry."
