blown away. some of the most beautiful, atmospheric, darkest and also bewildering rock i've ever listened to. this was an absolutely beautiful album but man i was not expecting experimentation like this from david bowie of all people. album was overall really beautiful and had some really nice atmosphere and textures; whilst also having some head bopping moments like track 2. dark ass lyricism by the way. insane album - gonna need a lot of relistens on this one.

longest review yet, new top 3 album for me
my life genuinely feels complete now i’ve listened to this. from front to back this album had my jaw on the floor. i can’t fathom how good some of the music on here is. long season just had me staring at my screen in disbelief for at least 5 minutes after i finished the album. the only small gripe i have with this album is shinji’s vocals in some of the tracks, but it’s completely understandable when you realise that he was ... read more
nothing too special, just a few bangers from freddie. didn’t have any big expectations for a surprise ep drop though
it’s good, but not really my thing compared to vanisher. as much as i appreciate him switching genres especially after such a successful album i really want some more art pop/folky quadeca shit. still a really solid track but man i would kill for another ruin my life type track or another maruja collab.
nice single, probably one of his weakest tracks in the past year or so but still extremely solid. yet to hear a bad song from this dude
this is the worst album i've ever listened to and it's not even close. i would seriously rather watch paint dry than relisten to this. it's fucking terrible. 5 pity points for road trips
beat is amazing, mixing could’ve been a bit better but peggy is just saying shit. he’s kinda washed as a rapper imo
i previously heard the first track and quite liked it so i decided to give the full album a listen, i was pleasently surprised. this album is so unique in a way that i can't explain. i have no idea what genre this would even be considered. really fucking cool album
favourite - yeah right (100/100)
this was really good and impressive musically, especially knowing this was fully improvised in a single take; however i really wasn't expecting this big atmospheric and progressive sound from maruja. joe did an incredible job on here. i didn't dislike this ep at all but i feel songs like these lack any replay value and doesn't really have a specific time or place i could listen to. very cool first listen, i definitely prefer their more art rock/art punk stuff with vocals though. ... read more
i love kanye's first two albums as well as j dilla's "donuts" so it was pretty impossible for me to dislike anything on here in any way. this album is absolutely incredible, every song on here felt fresh and new with little imperfections. insane production, insane rapping, not much more to say
i planned on listening to this back when it dropped and damn i'm so mad i didn't, i missed out heavy. production is actually incredible, pharrell went CRAZY. super consistent, great rapping, amazing features (besides the-dream, kinda sold that song a little ngl)
favourite - let god sort em out/chandeliers (100/100)
rating just for heavy hitters
i get why this was a bonus track for the japanese release, i really like this song but it would feel a little out of place on tcd. great song
its aight, female vocalist is much better. 2nd song was very good
i had no idea that new york city cops was replaced in america, it's a pretty equal replacement, i like it a tad less than new york city cops
instrumentation is fine but holy shit julian whats with the autotune. shit sounds like blood on the leaves by kanye west. it's not a bad song by any means but i'm just praying that this isnt the final master
