production is actually inhuman. this hardly feels like a rap album at times. super psychedellic and dreamy. cloud rap at its best
insane discovery, very enjoyable. has a big parannoul vibe to it. can be a little forgettable and the overall sound can get a little old nearer the end of the album, but these songs are amazing individually. probably just a me thing though
also robin if you read this was the start of scream into the clouds inspired by sunglasses by bcnr or am i just crazy

i previously listened to the intro track and assumed the entire album would be this huge dense atmospheric shoegazy album which was what i was looking for going into this; needless to say i was very pleasently surprised by this fun stoner metal/garage punk sound. very fun riffs and constant energy throughout, cool elements of garage rock, noise rock, punk rock, even doom metal at moments (blackout). vocals are my main issue with this album, the dude cannot sing lol. his vocals match the garage ... read more
before i mention the music, the album cover is really cool, it matches the overall sound of the album very well. some sections often drag out a little too long, as well as some intros taking a little too long to do anything. i don't actually mind this much on first listen; i actually find it very chill to just sit and listen to extended parts. however i feel like it often kills a lot of replay value and that you need to be in a very specific mood/certain time of day to listen to any songs ... read more
some of the best production i've ever heard, up there with nujabes, the alchemist, j dilla, flying lotus and mike dean. the sampling is incredible, i enjoyed it quite a bit more than madvillany's production. really good rapping from freddie gibbs too, great lyrics

very well produced ep, really enjoyed the instrumentation and overall feel of the album, rip

by far the best metal album i've heard (at least instrumentally), very cool conceptually and lyrically. every song on here aside from the ones i would consider interludes (unicorn and from mars) are all some of the best metal songs i've ever heard and are all near perfect and unique. sorry morgan simpson and zach hill, i've found a new favourite drummer

one of the best experimental hiphop songs ever made, this shit is amazing
some of the weirdest stuff i've ever listened to, fell off near the middle unfortunately. really cool blend of instruments and genres, the sampling is super cool. has lots of songs i 100% don't see myself coming back to but dang some of these songs were incredible. some of the songwriting on here is absolutely heartbreaking, some of the saddest lyrics i’ve ever seen especially after finding out about groggs’ unfortunate death

kanye's actually back. i was really expecting this to be a huge flop but a lot of this was actually very enjoyable. mixing is off on a few songs, vocals seem a little drowned out. his voice doesn't sound very clear because of the vocal effects on some songs which is a shame. aside from that, the production was actually quite enjoyable. last 1/3 of the album has some noticable ai in it though which is very unfortunate

MUCH darker sounding than antennas to heaven and slow riot. the two other projects from them that i listened to i both gave some of my highest ratings and this is on par with the others. absolutely insane, post rock at its best
favourite: east hastings (top 50 of all time)
listened to this a long time ago and just kinda forgot about it, pretty disappointing considering just how incredible in rainbows is

not bad, a little underwhelming overall but has some great tracks on it

j dilla was an absolute sampling genius. i doubt i'll come back to this one very often, especially with playlist adds since the songs are just far too short. overall it got a little repetitive by the end but that might just be because of the sheer amount of tracks on here. rip dilla
