Addison Rae’s debut album proves that anyone can do anything that they put their mind to and that it’s never too late change who you are.
Sabrina’s latest album tells a story of a toxic relationship from start to finish. The idea is genius, but the album itself has many loose screws.
(tears is a really good song)
It confuses me when some people say that Nessa is trying too hard, because she’s not even trying anymore at this point. Most of the lyrics sound AI generated and she’s likely only doing this to try and stay relevant which I understand but..girl pls put some effort into ur songs. It got difficult to listen to this album sometimes because of the awfully cringe lyrics (I’ll let you guess which ones I’m talking about.) And the overall dryness of the album. But towards the ... read more
Ugh, I should have listened to this sooner. This is one of the most unique and quite interesting things I have heard in a while. It’s so incredible that I think that no album could ever replace something like this. This is not the album I thought it would be. 9.5/10
Best tracks: Hey Jane (it’s such a soothing and nostalgic feeling song ugh) Sticky, balloon.
Least fav tracks: Judge Judy (the random moaning at the end kind of ruined the song ngl).
Honestly, most of these songs just feel like scrapped songs from previous era’s, but it’s not terrible. This album was actually pretty enjoyable and her lyricism was great as usual. The transitions could have been better though. One thing I don’t like about this whole MEGAN era is her using Asians on a lot her songs for clout or something idk. Honestly it’s starting to just feel like a fetish. It’s not like there’s anything wrong with Asian people but like ... read more
This song is so 2000’s coded, and I love it. I love everything about this song. Her voice, the poetic lyrics and all of the other elements in this song tie together so beautifully and flawlessly. This is what pop is truly supposed to be.
Side note: stop trying to make her fanbase name called “the raecists” y’all are gonna piss her off or get her cancelled😭
From low effort to the whole saweetie verse, this song is terrible in all kinds of ways. Listening to this feels like listening to big foot by Nicki Minaj because her and saweetie sound like crackheads on this song. And since the day this song was announced, I knew it was gonna be terrible because saweetie was gonna be on this song. And she’s…well…saweetie. And if you have been living under a rock, ever since that video of her being weird at the 2023 VMA’s she has been ... read more
This album is extremely comparable to Katy Perry’s 143. It’s a usual dance pop album with low effort lyrics and beats that go insanely hard. I like this album but girlie really needs to work on her songwriting. Some of her lyrics just don’t make sense at all. Pay close attention to them and you’ll see what I mean. Overall this is a good album. It just needs better lyrics 💖
I’ll give this a 6.6/10
Messy, but still great. Definitely a downgrade from the original brat but it wasn’t too bad.
8.3/10 ✨✨
Best track: Sympathy is a knife feat. Ariana Grande (probably the most relatable song I’ve ever heard.)
Okay, the beginning of the album was great. Her voice + the whole 60’s jazz theme just made me feel cozy and warm inside. But the rest of the album? Not so much. The rest of the album is just a disappointment. It all just sounds the same from there. She also put little effort into her lyricism for this album. I really really wanted to like this, but sadly I didnt. 4.5/10
Honestly, this is one of the most unique and outstanding albums I have heard in a while. SOPHIE’s production on this album is unlike anything she’s done before. This whole album just makes me feel like I’m floating in space or something idk but it’s really cool. What I didn’t like about this album was the first four tracks. The first four tracks just sound like a preview to the album. And the 5th track is where the album REALLY starts. I’m going to give this ... read more
This is actually really beautiful, It just doesn't really sound like SOPHIE enough. But it’s still cool. 8/10.
This album just feels like one whole very long disco pop song, and that’s because she never really switches up the tempo or feeling of the album, which was a little disappointing for me because I though that she was gonna switch it up more. But it’s actually pretty fun to listen to. And I know that the song “woman’s world” sucks but I though that it was a great way to kick off the album. And in the last track “wonder” when she said “time is gonna ... read more
