Sporadic grooves are hampered down by a voice that becomes grating over a full tracklist
Raitt finds the sweet spot with a set of soulful slow-jams but bundles them in with a collection of groovy yet mediocre tracks.
Highlights - I can't make you love me, Not the only one
I've done farts that sound better than this. I'm a silent but violent kinda guy to.
Tiller shows little to no progression after a long wait.
The production and vocals remain of solid quality, but half baked tracks with a lack of identity wear thin over a 50 minute run-time.
A momentum stalling third LP bloated with remixes and uninspired features which remains slightly elevated in score due to 3 incredible tracks.
While the vocals and instrumentation remain luscious, the album as a whole fails to leave the lasting impact that something like "Essentials" left.
**Deluxe tracks only**
The leftovers taste just as good as the first serving.
A versatile offering from Brockhampton's best that doesn't always hit the mark. While some tracks come off a little half baked, the highs still soar incredibly high.
So far from my usual cup of tea yet so bizarre & raw that I continue to come back for more.
My boy Mikael Bubbles has a very suave voice. That being said, I'd rather end it all then sit through an entire Christmas album. Fuck off
Haven't finished it yet but the drumming is definitely the highlight. Can't believe Malcolm Oppenheimer is so talented.
