beabadoobee - This Is How Tomorrow Moves
65

Has a good start but in the middle of the album, the songs dont really grab you as much. Still questioning the album title bruh.

LE SSERAFIM - CRAZY
60

way to kill the mood with putting a boring ballad at the end. It was going so well with the consistency of bumpy instrumentals. Lyrics mid, Crazy is just copy and paste chorus, nothing experimental with sound and lyrics, just playing it safe bruh. pierrot is solid tho gets too repetitive, the little opera bit was cute though. but overall the whole album is okay?

Magdalena Bay - Mercurial World
84

Great opener and great finisher, some fillers though its doesn't pull you out. I love her vocals esp in mercurial world. prod goes harddd

Clairo - Charm
85

really like the production, and the overall vibe
update 75->85 (nov 6)
This album's sound stays consistent, production holds up and gosh it stays in theme, I love her authentic vibe and her soft vocals, tho some songs the vocals get overtaken by the production but it doesn't pull you out of it. This was definitely a grower and I really enjoy it more noow.

Charli xcx - BRAT
92

i love how theres two tracks where its just slows down and gets really real and then the next song is straight back to bopping. every song really fits the club theme from a brat's perspective. Really well done (peak storytelling and bopping)

NewJeans - How Sweet
60

how sweet is just so lacklustre, going on the repetitive trend again with the chorus which makes the song so weak, and sadly it doesn't go anywhere. bubble gum is cute but simple. i hope newjeans leaves this repetive singing line loop and their producer takes more risks with the production

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
85

birds of a feather is so nice ahhh billie really showed off her vocals here, I love to hear her belt and stray from her soft tones. The lyricism feels more straightforward then her previous albums. I really enjoy this change of sound, truly a great album

Caroline Polachek - Desire, I Want to Turn Into You
90

it took a couple listens tho at first there were some songs that hooked me instantly. The production on this is a chefs kiss, gosh its magnificent. Blends so well with her voice. Once I understand how these songs correlate with the album's title, this will definitely go up more, for now its sits very damn high.

Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess
80

Such a fun album, production could've been better but her vocals really saved this

78-> 80 (still iffy with the production but its so catchy its a great pop album)

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT
40

sigh this was so boring, production boring like reallly boring,

Tyla - TYLA
50

Great voice but man the instrumentals are so boring, water is the only one that has me grooving, feels like that was the only one that most effort was put in. everything else felt rushed and not genuine.

Rina Sawayama - SAWAYAMA
70

i feel uplifted somehow, whole lp giving bad bitch vibes

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)
60

ill come back to this eventually

Camila Cabello - I LUV IT
60

this is so bad its acc a bop

소녀시대 [Girls' Generation] - Holiday Night
70

Solid album, feels nostalgic looking back.

Melanie Martinez - K-12
52

Without the film, the album is charming. with the film, the album is confusing. Production better this time but it lyrics lack. you'd expect with a title k-12 it would be an album about whats going in in specific years, but its just a bunch of random stuff that barely holds together. cute aesthetic though, once again a nice visual album, just needs better storytelling

Melanie Martinez - Cry Baby
60

This really is a visual album, without the MVs it wouldn't hold up as much. She could've done better with production and lyrics. Some songs were weaker, like you can tell which has effort and which doesn't. This project was ambitious though, I liked the story she was portraying. A good start up for this character. It feels amateurish sometimes, mainly because shes just starting out and wants to bring out the most, she just doesn't know how yet. I really like the concept too, though the 'tag ... read more

LE SSERAFIM - EASY
40

;/ im finding a trend of their title tracks reaching the final chorus and having no umph.
