injury episode is a major step-up in production but its lacking some of the memorability and the punch that rouge carpet disaster brought. it leaves this new album feeling kind of oversaturated sometimes and it gets lost in the sauce a lot i think. some of their best and worst original work is here though, like adapter being probably their best more melodramatic song. i thought classic death pose was the bands most directionless song, one of their only songs that sort of feels like filler

what happened????
the first half of this album is like a godsend. its so great and unique and interesting and fast and fun, it built up all this momentum just for the second half to lose almost all of it
second half is trying way too hard to be different i think, and it comes off messy and unorganized without really leaving much of a mark. it kind of sounds like something off of an i set my friends on fire album. it leaves me wondering why? why the sudden switch up? maybe im missing ... read more
2 years on AOTY + 300th review
What is there to say about Abbey Road that hasn't already been said about a billion times. There is a reason this is THE most iconic album in history, and that reason is that it's just a really good album. ESPECIALLY for 1969. Is it as good as most people make it out to be? No, not really. However this is probably the most culturally significant album ever created, and for that i think it deserves to be among the greatest albums of all time. Everyone ... read more
linkin parks 'fall from grace' isnt really all that dramatic
sure this album isnt nowhere near as exciting, memorable or interesting as their first two (or even their first three), but there is still a lot that deserves to be talked about in this album, like how it dares to be something different even after the mixed opinions of their last album
that doesnt completely redeem it. this is the weakest in terms of lyricism, vocals, melodies, and ESPECIALLY rapping. its still solely ... read more
this probably isnt a great first impression from a band ive only heard good things about
for the most part this is so... boring? it feels pointless, recycled. almost every song sounds like bland filler, like something you can put on for background noise while you clean or cook or something. but it could also catch you off guard with simple and sweet melodies and catchy riffs
it just needs its own identity. i can think of a dozen albums that sound exactly like this

bipolar ahh album PICK A GENRE
actually it balances them really well but there are a few times where its a little jarring. like i thought the interlude track was so unnecessary but i also loved the singer-songwriter stuff
this is my first impression of both these artists and they left a good one. i hope they make more stuff like this
fav tracks: Yaya Touré, The Front, The Troubles
least fav: Old Freight Train
analog horror ahh album cover
solid album from this solid band but like a lot of modern metalcore it needs to stand out more to really blow minds
this is just a strong, punchy, energetic and infectious bunch of songs with some twists and turns to keep listeners engaged
fav tracks: Better Written Villain, Unreasonable Doubt, Healing Process (Leave of Absence)
least fav: Intravenous
this is american footballs best album in almost 27 years, which is sort of a shame because like the two previous albums it leaves quite a bit to be desired. this album especially feels like it doesnt have a whole lot to say. the lyrics are pretty bland and the vocals are nowhere near as energetic as i think they should be.
or maybe they shouldnt be. this album has a great balance between being consistently melodramatic and exploding when it wants to. Patron Saint of Pale is probably going to ... read more
a very very solid debut album from mr evan fungus aka vanossgamer
there is a ton of potential that i think he hasnt quite reached here, but i could see his next albums being a lot cleaner if he keeps up with this sound
and unfortunately its really short, which i think makes the songs feel very limited. but it is very fast and punchy and i like that. not a lot of boring moments and very strong opener and closer
fav tracks: sickening, breathe, flowers
least fav: mammet
when i found out the tom macdonald version of taste was better than the original i had to see if tuvs music was really that bad. well it really is that bad. but like not never make music again bad, more like you need to improve on pretty much everything bad
so incredibly annoying sometimes which sucks cause the good melodies are always ruined by the vocals or the horrendous production. but at least theres some stuff worth picking apart, like how i think the first song would be a banger if the ... read more
all it really has going for it is the first song and maybe the second. first song bangin banger it really hypes you up for the rest of the album
turns out everything else is kinda boring slop not interesting at all. but nothing inherently awful either
feels like a passion project that loses passion about 3 songs in
fav tracks: From Nowhere
least fav: Maway, Always Like This, In / Out
american footballs third album still isnt memorable enough to be as good as their first, but it doesnt really have to
i think the balance between trying to sound modern and fresh but also true to their sound is working a lot in some areas, but other times it just blends and meshes together and it becomes a little uninteresting
i think its good enough that new and older fans will still be interested and satisfied though
but its still some good ol american football, and as of this review their ... read more
i like it quite a bit. its charming and sweet like their first album but this one isnt as memorable
falls off heavy about halfway through. no big moments or anything like that
but its still very enjoyable, especially the first song
fav tracks: Where Are We Now?
least fav: I Need a Drink (Or Two or Three)
static dress and underoath produced by the dude from loathe
this album is gonna be peak
its good its fine. that last song really outshines everything else without it this wouldnt crack a 7
besides that there isnt a whole lot to say
fav tracks: In Spite of Artillery
least fav: Slept, Woke Up, Slept, Woke Up, Miserable Life
so good so many bangers mixed in with a few filler songs
unfortunately those filler songs kinda kill the vibe a bit, but theyre still good
excellent album from an excellent duo
fav tracks: One More Time, Digital Love, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, Superheroes, Veridis Quo
least fav: Voyager, Too Long
everything wrong with maroon 5 in one album
low effort slop for seemingly no reason. a waste of time really
if anything a song or two is bearable
fav tracks: none
least fav: all
maroon 5 has the unbelievable ability to make 37 minutes feel like 2 hours
so excrutiatingly generic and boring i had to relisten to each song like three times cause i kept losing focus, on top of adam levine's voice
would probably never listen again
fav tracks: none
least fav: Memories, Memories (Remix), One Light
