known about Mayday Parade forever but never listened to any of their music until now. i love it

im a sucker for emo pop from this era. idk what it is but it hits a sweet spot in my brain, and vocalist is really great

very very good. ill listen to more eventually

fav tracks: Black Cat, Jersey, If You Wanted a Song Written About You, All You Had to Do Was Ask, Miserable at Best, You Be the Anchor That Keeps My Feet on the Ground, I'll Be the Wings That Keep Your Heart in the Clouds

fav tracks: Tears on the Moon, Weather to Believe
least fav: none

87 --> 93 (3/5/2026) these guys are definitely one of my favourite bands right now. cant get enough of them

I Promised the World - Bliss In 7 Languages
90

i love this. so excited for the EP

Circa Survive - Juturna
80

its pretty great but holy man is it drawn out

a staple in emo post-hardcore and anthony greens vocals are still second to none, but i cant help but forget what im listening to half the time

still some great emo jams, i like it a whole lot

fav tracks: Holding Someone's Hair Back, Stop the Fuckin' Car, We're All Thieves, House of Leaves
least fav: Wish Resign, Always Getting What You Want

Roar - I Can't Handle Change
66

i cant handle change had a chokehold on 14 yr old me

fav tracks: I Can't Handle Change
least fav: Baby Bride Rag, Just a Fan, Duck or Ape

The Neighbourhood - Private
78

hello the neighbourhood, welcome to fortnite

Thursday - War All the Time
84

very great emo stuff

i enjoyed this a lot its very emotional and personal. but i thought there were a lot of uninteresting and filler moments

Thrusday continues to impress me though

fav tracks: Steps Ascending, For the Workforce, Drowning, War All the Time, This Song Brought to You by a Falling Bomb
least fav: Asleep in the Chapel

Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
52

lame

can i get my burger plain with just cheese

fav tracks: Elizabeth Taylor
least fav: Father Figure, Eldest Daughter

Silverstein - Pink Moon
71

a small step up from their other release earlier this year

some decent riffs and cool vocal melodies here and there, but painfully forgettable at points

silverstein is a band i love purely for their older stuff, their newer stuff holds up but mostly falls flat for me

fav tracks: Negative Space, Autopilot
least fav: I Love You but I Have to Let You Go, Dying Game

Björk - Post
81

very very interesting. this is the first bjork ive listened to and its quite good i like it a lot

there were a few moments where i was lost and confused, but still enjoyed my listen the whole way through

i will listen to more bjork real soon

fav tracks: Army of Me, Hyper-Ballad, Enjoy, You've Been Flirting Again, Possibly Maybe
least fav: Cover Me, Headphones

Thursday - Full Collapse
92

a beautiful album front to back. thursday is on track to become one of my favourite bands

hypnotic melodies and geoff's incredible soft and harsh vocals make for the best ear candy

love it

fav tracks: all
least fav: none

90 --> 92 (9/25/2025)

Fleshwater - 2000: In Search of the Endless Sky
91

this is fucking NUTS

from the first two singles i knew this was going to be great but WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW

and i thought deftones was 2025 peak

fav tracks: ALL
least fav: none

95 --> 91 (3/5/2026) On relisten the hype died on me but this album is still incredible

AJR - What No One's Thinking
44

if my life sounded like this i would hate it, not enough to end it though

this is the most bearable AJR release (mostly because it’s short), but once again the trio does the same schtick they’ve been doing for 10 years, with little subtle changes with each project

but man does it stink still. will they ever redeem themselves?

fav tracks: The Plane That Never Lands
least fav: Betty, The Big Goodbye

EDEN - Dark
86

another absolute bangin album from EDEN, who 10 years after the classic that is End Credits still evolves his sound while sticking true to his roots

i love it so much. though I don’t think it’s his very best, it’s definitely up there

fav tracks: all
least fav: none

Deftones - private music
88

nowhere near Deftones’ best, but an incredible album nonetheless. i love it

i don’t mind Deftones more spacy elements in their music like a lot of other fans do. for this album I think it works extremely well and it seems like they perfected it

probably going to be my album of the year

fav tracks: all
least fav: none

Thursday - Waiting
83

im really loving this

thursday is a band ive known about for a while but havent listened to their stuff till now

i feel like this will be one of those albums that will grow on me heavily over time. there are a few absolute bangers with the rest raning from good to great

im seeing them live when they open for silverstein in november so this makes me even more excited

fav tracks: Porcelain, This Side of Brightness, The Dotted Line
least fav: Introduction

Silverstein - Arrivals & Departures
79

some good ol silverstein bangers

a noticeable dip in quality from their first 2 albums but this is still great

fun but not all interesting at times

fav tracks: If You Could See Into My Sould, My Disaster. The Sand Will Turn To Glass, True Romance
least fav: Vanity and Greed, Rain Will Fall, Falling Down

Fleshwater - Last Escape
80

the other single was better but this ones still great

so excited
