im really loving this
thursday is a band ive known about for a while but havent listened to their stuff till now
i feel like this will be one of those albums that will grow on me heavily over time. there are a few absolute bangers with the rest raning from good to great
im seeing them live when they open for silverstein in november so this makes me even more excited
fav tracks: Porcelain, This Side of Brightness, The Dotted Line
least fav: Introduction
Thursday debut with an album that is almost at the quality level their breakthrough album, Full Collapse is. The key here is that they already have a great developed emo post hardcore sound, that would only be polished on their next album, but both Waiting and Full Collapse don't have the overproduction that would slowly sneak into their sound after Full Collapse. Classic album through and through.
felt very slightly repetitive but still very enjoyable. im emo i think im emo wait why am i becoming emo heha 🫰
genuinely a perfect album. i've listened to it over and over for years and its beautiful every single time. i love how geoff's voice sounds in this album (or ep whatever,) the lyrics are beautiful and instrumentals are perfect the whole thing is like a blessing to my ears
A little rough around the edges but a decent first album. Ian Curtis is one of my favourite Thursday songs.
