Complicated feelings about this one. Bass tone and instrumentation is great. Thursday's songwriting had clearly become more complex since Full Collapse and this album has a lot of interesting song ideas like Even The Sand and The Lovesong Writer. That scream on Into The Blinding Light is one of the best screams ever scrumpt.
Some of the vocals / vocal production is a little grating to my ears. I'm still not a huge fan of Counting 5-4-3-2-1.

A fan favourite for a reason. However, definitely their ugliest cover art by a long shot, which I get is probably what they were going for.
Still not sure whether I'd "rather be a widow or a divorcee". Super catchy guitar riff and fun solo.
Most Fall Out Boy fans consider Folie their best album these days - I disagree, I think overall Infinity on High just beats Folie - but I think most people can agree this album didn't deserve the hate it originally received. Definitely some of Stump's most impressive vocals in his entire career.
Favourites: West Coast Smoker, Headfirst Slide, 27. The Beat It cover on the UK edition is surprisingly good. I recommend listening to the 'Legendary' demo to fans of this album.
