The compilation spans a good amount of the bands progression showcasing earlier works which had bedroom mixing and felt round as a plum as vocals fought to make any imprint... To later works which had full encompassing hardcore passages that erupted into extreme Skramz gold. For as sappy as some of the lyrics of the over the top emo can be at times, most of this album aged pretty well. It's rawness is it's key trait.
i think the reasons this isnt higher is because it should probably be split into multiple albums, this does NOT need to be 1hr+ long, some of the songs feel a bit too samey and i feel i can tell most of this isnt an album and just a collection hehe. overall tho i really liked this and especially liked "The Sweetness and the Light" and "Some Natures Catch No Plagues".
One Dying Wish made me laugh the first time I heard it but it's now one of my favourite songs of all time.

First screamo album! I really enjoyed how this kind of pushed me out of my box. I've always been threatened by screamo, but this album honestly was a great introduction. I really enjoyed not only the vocals but just how passionate they were. I definitely preferred the more emo passages, but the hardcore stuff was cool too, if not a bit repetitive.
