By now, I assume this way of producing vocals is a BH producers thing, but I don’t like it. It sounds very muddy, and it’s particularly jarring for groups whose members haven’t had the chance to develop a real vocal identity yet. TXT suffers from this a lot too and it’s really too bad because BH does have an ear for interesting tracks. I’m starting to think BH doesn’t trust the vocal capabilities of these kids. Maybe they’re just hiding the ... read more
I really liked “we lost the summer” and “wishlist”, disliked “ghosting” and “blue hour” and hated “way home”.
“ghosting” and “blue hour” both took the things I didn’t like from the previous eps and not only reproduced them, but made them even worse. yuck.
“way home” could’ve been good. Sometimes, it’s not originality, it’s just bad. know the difference.

well, even though I scored it lower than the 2 previous ones, I do think this is an improvement.
The voices are slightly better, there are more interesting lyrics, and the choice of tracks (read, melodies) makes this album a lot less bland than the 2 previous ones.
However, in nearly every track, choices were made that were dumb. And for christ sake's, what is this Kpop obsession with putting together two obviously different tracks to make just one? the last one, Eternally, could have made a ... read more
It's just not amazing. Maybe my expectations are too high because of who their seniors are, but this album had a couple nice tracks and that was about it.
Some interesting lyrics here and there, too.
Voices indistinguishable, which is quite disappointing. You don't need 5 members if they're all going to sound about the same due to the production.
Some extremely Kpop-sounding tracks (roller coaster, poppin star, angel or devil). Yes, it's a negative.
I enjoyed "Can't We Just Leave the ... read more
The 3 1/2 added tracks on this repackage are great on their own, I would just say that I don't think they necessarily perfectly suit the musical theme of Wings.
Definitely a better debut than most pop/kpop groups, but it still left me somewhat underwhelmed.
Very good. Bad Bye has kind of an old vibe to it, but I still enjoyed it. Waggy just feels out of place.
Very pleasantly surprised, although I find sky! sky! to be very "generic kpop" and could've done without it. The vocals are amazing.
Alice has a lot of potential. I'd say I was a little let down by some of the tracks for being a bit too mellow. Little more punch would have helped, but I'm looking forward to her new work, especially in terms of lyrics.
Very interesting first album. His inspiration is very blatant, but I don't think it's a problem. The theme is well served in every song and Loic's passion cannot be unheard.
Looking forward to his new work.
Well thought out, as always. BTS' albums tell stories, and of course, it's going to fly high above the head of people who only care about singles or know nothing of story telling.
My only issue with this one is I think Airplane pt.2 and So What don't mesh well musically with the rest of the songs (altho they do go well together thematically).
BTS did not care what people expected for this album, they went and did what they wanted to do. The mark of true artists.
They made a collection of songs that interact with each other and tell a story. Looking at the lyrics is of the utmost importance, as, unlike other pop albums, they serve a purpose and enhance the whole experience.
I'm requesting for those derogatory posts about "bots" to be removed, as they're clearly not reviewing this album.
