I barely want to give out 11/10s. This time, I really want to.
This is easily one of - if not the - best song of the decade. It's been on repeat for at least a year now, and I can't get bored with this song. Can we talk about the beat? Redveil sampled the same song Ye did at his song with Ty Dolla $ign, "BURN", and an (at that time) 18 year old kid made the sampling better than one of the biggest hip-hop producers of all time - just in advance.
But something was missing. The original ... read more
This girl's existence demolishes my brain. I wanted to listen to the new Machine Girl EP and I searched for their Spotify profile as "Machine Gvrl" and now I hate myself.
I don't want to degrade art to call this music. Just because making shit like this is easily accessible, it doesn't mean you have to do it.
Why do you release the same bad song EVERY 2 DAYS? What are your intetntions? I know for a fact I spent more time making this review than she spends time putting together a ... read more
It felt like not just the making of the album, listening to it took 10 years as well.
After the first three tracks 'ÁTTA' had nothing more to offer. It was the same pattern everytime: a slow build-up, for... what, exactly? When the tracks hit their "peak", it was the same than before that, some piano chords as the lead part of the instrumental and some quiet violins in the background (with vocals, of course). And even that I got bored with it pretty quickly, these elements ... read more
Fuck yea, boring rage!
Somewhere in the deep, I genuinely expected something bearable, just because its rating was this high (by the time of this review, it's 72/100), but I got what I mostly expected to get: nothing. This album was barely entertaining, the delivery felt boring after the 4th track, "Singapore", the lyrics were the same everytime: and I don't mean it like they were about the same 4-5 topics, there were the same exact words and/or the same exact lines in different songs ... read more
It was alright, but SZA's part should've been longer.
At the first verse, I didn't like that Drake was off-beat, but after SZA's amazing feature, he stopped the Blueface, and he was solid. But the track was waaaay long. At the third verse, both Drake and the song became boring.
I won't have a problem if the whole album will have a same vibe as this song, but the tracks need to be shorter.
The greatest song of all time. There will never be a better song than this. There will never be a song as good as this ever again. That's it.
WAP, but... meh, i don't care anymore, this song actually ruined my day.
Both the beat and the singing is boring and annoying at the same time. Megan is the most bearable but who gives a shit? I needed to listen to this song 3 times to get to her part.
This song doesn't deserve a longer review: it's ass. But in counter to Cardi B, the song has a natural one.
Y2K fell off hard. His song, "lalala" was on top of the charts 4 years ago and now he's producing songs to Dream.
The instrumentals were fine - if the singing's the thing I'm comparing it to. When I was able to seperate the vocals and the music, the music sounded like most of the songs I hear on the radio.
But the vocals: holy shit those were awful. Dream is NOT a singer, he lacks of almost everything a singer should have. So even if the lyrics' had entendres and shit: even then I ... read more
At first, I hated JID's auto-tuned voice on Half Doin Dope. But it's grown on me pretty fast. JID and Boat have amazing chemistry, but BabyTron was the one who carried this release. It was Yachty's first good RAP release this year, too.
We've got two fun songs what are two of the best rap songs released this year as well, so yeah, I fuckin love it!
I've been a "When It's All Gone" fan since 2020, but today was the first time I listened to this album, I don't why did I delay this much.
Getter is a producer/song-writer, who mostly produced songs for white emo rap/trap metal artists like $uicideboy$ or Ghostemane. His hip-hop "alter-ego" is called Terror Reid, and this was his first studio album under this name.
It was good. Getter's unique delivery and unique producer style are mixed with boom bap elements, makes it a ... read more
I'm speechless (speech below)...
This album is perfect, this is a musical masterpiece. Every track feels like a symphony, they are so well-componated, I was amazed from start to finish. When you think the track stays the same as it started, it evolves, and it feels a way better song as the previous one.
This album is a journey. And on a good journey, the destination's what really matters, not the goal. At the first two tracks in, "Zebra" and "Silver Soul", I knew this is ... read more
It was actually bearable what the fuck? Of course it was bad but i thought it will be worse.
