Revisiting Rammstein: Pt. 3
This was an amazing listen!
On this album, Rammstein took all of the best things from the previous albums and improved all of the weaknesses. Till's vocal performance on songs like Mein Herz Brennt, Adios, and Mutter is awesome, especially compared to previous records.
This record is the most diverse Rammstein has done so far. It has amazing ballads like Mutter, has a lot of storytelling like Spieluhr and Mein Herz Brennt, and also has some of the heaviest songs like Zwitter, Feuer Frei, etc. (Feuer Frei is fire)
There are also some innovations on here. But the main one is definitely the strings. They add a lot of emotions to the songs like Mein Herz Brennt, Mutter, and more.
The other important thing that started from this album is Rammstein's tradition to end their albums with a soft ballad. Here they ended with, probably the best song on this album and one of the best in their whole discography, Nebel. I love everything about it, the haunting atmosphere, the story, but mostly, the chorus. The chorus is so amazing, that it's works as a payoff for the whole album.
To sum it up, this album has all the things we love Rammstein for, every song on here is good, and the experience you get from the songs is very different. Sounds like the best Rammstein can ever get.
