this is such a good album bro its really just a few songs that are ehh on here, but besides those I really fucking love this album
earl is actually happy for once in his life 🥹, but seriously this album is pretty good, its him starting a new chapter in his life and we've basically seen him grown up over the years and hes finally happy now, being a father soon and all that good stuff, glad to see him happy and healthier.
ehhhh not macs best work but, its a nice thing to listen to, kinda something to put in the background and stuff, all sounds kinda the same which is the biggest part of it, but its comforting
The most beautiful album I've heard. The production on this is something unmatched and that I've never heard, the rapping, the singing, everything is to a tea and honestly amazing, i highly recommend this album, the lyrical content and message behind the songs are so beautiful, this is for sure the best evolution of an artist I've ever seen, and it's great to see Quadeca come this far in his journey in music.
this is such an amazing album and is so fun to listen to, I really dont need to say much more than that
great album with a great fall off, by the end of runaway it REALLY loses it steam, but before that its such an amazing album, hell of a life is honestly the last like song before this album becomes a bit of a drag for me honestly, but besides that it's an amazing album that still holds up to this day.
This my personal favorite of the collage trilogy, it starts off so strong and doesn't lose its consistency for me, and the fact that this is the underrated one out of the three is beyond me ðŸ˜
honestly, its such an amazing album, and I desperately need to relisten, but from the first listen expierence it was fucking amazing and I really enjoyed this album
HEAVY paris texas vibes, but still working on their craft to make it better, but honestly starting off really strong with their first EP, I can't wait to see what they do with their first studio album.
Can't give it a perfect 100 as I didn't really pay attention to the concept of the album itself, but the production and rapping on this album are fucking amazing, im gonna have to watch a yt video to fully understand the concept of the album as I really didn't understand it too well, but for now it's getting a 90.
Another great album from this year, and honestly with the albums coming out this might be the next top 5 music years of all time, Pharrell is producing his ass off, as well as Pusha T, Malice, and even the features on this album, (tyler had best feature btw), but honestly no slips at all.
Honestly one of the best albums I've ever heard, that's literally all I need to say on this album because the production and rap is just amazing all the way through
Honestly, for a while this was my favorite carti project because the production and beats on this album sound so amazing and melodic, I'd argue that Location is one of the best produced songs of all time, and then immediately transitioned to Magnolia which is one of the funnest tracks I've heard, but there are some skips on this project such as Lame Niggaz, and dothatshit! But none the less this is a fun album.
This is the ground work for what was to come in Mock, and it's still great, I've really taken an interest in this band and how they improve every single year, this did have its stand out tracks, specifically back to strangers which might be one of their best songs made, but all around a good album.
This is the most fun kendrick album to date, but at the cost of cohesive subject matter, no concept or anything, just straight rap, and it works, kendrick does sprinkle in some songs that have subject matter into them, such as reincarnated, which is a whole thing, but besides that it's really a fun album to listen to at like a cook out or something of the sorts.
This is my personal favorite kendrick album, yes I would take this over TPAB any single day, as it resonates with me way more than what the subject matter of TPAB is, but this one is about fixing ones self and reflecting on the choices one made to get there, trying to find that peace, trying to stay human. And for that, it's my favorite kendrick album.
Can't give this album a 100, as Loyalty is the ONLY song that I don't fw, but besides that, it's probably the most consistent album that I've listened to, hits you with constant bangers out of the gate, such as DNA, and then we have YAH, to ELEMENT, AND THEN TO FEEL? yeah this album is great.
A really solid debut from kendrick, I frequently go back to this album for it's hits, such as Poe Mans Dreams, I really fucking love that instrumental, but the albums does have it's low balls, such as No Make Up, and Tammy's song, but a really great debut and sets up the road for what kendrick can do next.
