I was praying that this album sounded like Tore Up and Bandit. Unfortunately, Donny didn't really commit to the whole aesthetic of the album, and I feel like most of these songs could be on Love Sick or Life of a Don. I can't believe this was rap album of the year. Not to say it's all bad but it feels like she's TikTok clip-farming half the time. (Weird laugh on peanuts, convo/breathing on denial, the obnoxious fart sounds on boom bap, etc.) Also songs in the middle of the album like Skipp, Hide n Seek, and Bloom are so underdeveloped it's hard to even count them for anything, regardless of their potential quality.
