Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze

Not the best QotSA album, but vibey and sexy. Towards the end this album can kinda drag, so you have to be in the mood. But man, "Medication", "Everybody Knows That You're Insane", and "Little Sister" are up there with their best, and the best in the genre.

"Confused World" is literally just "We live in a society" with actual middle school lyrics. (Edit: holy shit, this was a COVER?!)

RUFUS is back in the pocket, sounding exactly like ..well, themselves. You could cut a song or two and ask for some less cliche lyrics at times, but the vibe is always right. Stellar production and a number of hit singles. Will definitely be listening to this the rest of the summer.

Really nice textures throughout this well-produced album. It's soft and a bit maudlin, in a nice way. Mostly doesn't come together as a complete project; however, the song "Run to Stay" is an excellent standout that I'll be coming back to.
