even if theyve moved in a less unique direction sound wise
theyve managed to make up for it in sheer consistency and quality

i wish i could like get a brain chip inscribed with this album installed in me
it just inspires such strong pulling emotions in me with every listen
i wish i cared about my life as much as i care about this album

it has grown away from me but still has some really high highs
commatose is in my top 10 songs of oat but i feel like a lot of the songs feel a bit superfluous or just like not unique enough

its okay, but after a few songs it just kinda fades into the background
its also just not something that really appeals to me at all in terms of sound

Pretty good, a few tracks threw me off, but had a couple high points near the end that make me like it a lot

I get it now
i thought the vocals were terrible
and to a point yeah they kinda suck
but it goes beyond vocal talent, its more about capturing the actual point of whats being sung, and yeah theres INFINITE raw emotion in this album thats just ripe for the ol experiencing

its twin fantasy, its my favorite album, i like it up the butt

Something in me was altered listening to this
i was like
"hey, this is rated pretty highly, and its folk, lemme expand my pallate"
when i read the word folk i expected country
this is NOT country
wow
completely rotated my perspective on folk music as a whole
its just so beautiful and personal and emotional
like
got me into folk AND big thief at the same time AND is so great

This album saved my life
its one of those few albums that i feel understands me more than any person in my life ever could
and in that it was there for me at my lowest
so i can confidently say that this album indeed is the reason im alive now
4th favorite album oat

HOLY fuck i love this album so much
jeff rosenstock (in my opinion) hit one of his highest peaks
with the song felt just like vacation
like holy shit its such an incrediblly emotional song
not to mention the rest of the album is super amazing and solid the whole way through
ts is the 2nd best album EVER!
