On this debut project, David delivers a range of experimental tracks, but not all of them stick the landing. First off, David himself is ok as a rapper. He opts for a monotone delivery when he raps with a bit of distortion. His best project besides maybe C2: DOMT, great spacey, dark production with Robb bringing the grittiness to match it. He touches on aspects of love, as well as more aggressive topics.
Mixing is very experimental but subtle, as it is done by turning the volume up and down. Kaboo himself provides a catchy hook and comes through with several quotable bars like, "beat free to use like your bitch" and ad-libs like "It's Mik!" He never lets up with his flow on the second verse especially. Incredible banger.
After three years of waiting, the 0th Arc of Falconia is finally here, and it's quite nice. There are plenty of flaws in the album, but plenty of good things too. For starters, the mixing is mad inconsistent. I like the idea of imperfect mixing because it gives of a raw feel, but some songs here would for sure be better mixed. Then we have the lyrics. Sadly, there are a good amount of corny lines.
