I was listening to some old classical piano record full volume, came across some artsy pricks aoty profile, decided to give this a listen.
fuck you. my auditory range has shrunk significantly since.
I don’t find Gould’s interpretations of Bach particularly beautiful, but his unique approach to playing brings out a different, intriguing side of Bach’s music.
Miroirs: Ravels five-movement suite written between 1904 and 1905 truly is one of my personal favorite classical compositions.
Each movement paints a vague but moody picture that entrances me.
The most surreal and at the same time disturbing first listen I have ever had.
The dark themes on this LP are countless, and youre just left feeling like you've witnessed the worst of what humanity has to offer.
