JID - The Forever Story (Extended)
96

The pure mastery of his craft cant be understated. Money is the only track I dislike and even then I cant even say its a bad song. Fucking peak

HOME - Before the Night
90

My second favorite album for this kind of music, absolutely no skips. Only behind odyssey

HOME - Hold
85

pure vibes

Yvette Young - Piano
84

Yearn is one of my favorite piano songs ever

Yvette Young - Acoustics 2
84

I love this kind of music, and if I played guitar id want to learn all of the songs. A map a string a light pt 2 is amazing

Yvette Young - Acoustics
82

wonderful listen, its rough around the edges but still a very enjoyable listen

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
92

this isnt my favorite kendrick album ever, but I cant deny how good it is in general. Sing about me is probably one of the best hiphop songs ever made, and the short film approach is executed wonderfully

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
96

GOD really holds this back from a higher score for me, otherwise it would be on par with my Mr. Moral rating. the story, the beats, the flows, the concept, its all fucking peak

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
97

This is probably the most I've connected to a rap album before, there are some tracks that kinda fall flat, yes, but I can not deny the pure artistry and healing put onto display here. Mother I Sober is the only hiphop track to ever make me cry, and the rest of the album doesn't completely fall short either. the second disk of this album is truly an experience.

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
90

A true love letter to the west cost, KDot really popped out

Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.
82

To me its clear this is unused from the tpab/pre damn era, but it still manages to form a general vibe and concept, which I can respect. To me this is the weakest project from Kendrick since sec.80, but thats to be expected. Still a good listen and untitled 02 is peak

JPEGMAFIA - Veteran
82

heat, experimental as fuck, but still enjoyable.

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
88

ID BE DILLION BROOKS, BUT WORSE :speaking_head:

Vince Staples - Dark Times
81

Good lyrics, good vibes, good album. Not quite big fish theory but still a damn good project from vince

JPEGMAFIA - LP!
92

One of my first introductions to rap, and damn im glad it was. Songs like TRUST!, OG!, BALD!, and DAM! DAM! DAM! are still in my rotation. The only issue I have is that I really dont like NEMO! and ARE U HAPPY?, which holds it back from a higher score

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale
89

lots of bangers, but only a few standout tracks to me here. Of course some undeniable hits like hot wind blows, massa, sweet/I thought you wanted to dance, and sorry not sorry. For me some of the songs on here dont stand out, which makes it feel a bit too long for me, but still enjoyable

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk
96

I feel disk Inserted

Men I Trust - Untourable Album
87

To me this is Men I Trust's best album, PURE VIBES the whole way, no skips, just something you can put on and melt away to. Some of the best in the genre

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
90

I normally dont enjoy kanye, but he really went off here. Despite being short, it is enjoyable throughout and very fun to listen. Surprisingly, Reborn is actually my least favorite song, but besides that one all of these songs id be able to listen to over and over again
