So, my friend says he thinks Earl is overrated. And since I never listened to anything from him I decided to give this a listen. And yeah, of course it is haunting, sad, the lyrics are amazing, I don't have to tell you that. But is it a 100? For me, absolutely not.
I do totally understand why this song is 10 minutes long, but I don't like the fact that it is that long. To me it just doesn't feel like it had to be that long. And I feel like he could have told even more in that ... read more
This was uh… interesting. Not entirely my style but I really liked some songs. However, there were als some I just didn’t enjoy as much.
It’s really strange, it’s not as consistent for me as the track ratings suggest, but that’s probably due to the fact that some songs are just a little too extreme for my personal preference.
I… sadly really don’t know what else to say, I can’t really say that much about this. I did enjoy it most of the time, ... read more
I mean I guess it’s better than what I expected from Ye‘s 12 year old daughter?
But what do you all have with saying this is better than BULLY? It’s not. It really isn’t.
The only song you could argue might be close to being… good is D!e, besides that it’s all okayish mid songs that aren’t really worth listening more than once if you ask me.
And what the Fuck, how is Hatsune Miku a feature on Aishite (愛して). Seriously when I found thisout I was ... read more
Yeah I know, I’m your average pop enjoyer so this doesn’t really come as a surprise probably. But seriously, this is really good. I really like it. To me it’s kinda like the big sibling of Opalite that always outshines the younger sibling.
To cut it short, I prefer this one definitely over Opalite, though I will admit I enjoy both of them.
And Hey, as a German I should be happy that The Fate of Ophelia exists as the painting that inspired her music video (named Ophelia) is ... read more
Alright. Solid pop album, nothing too crazy but she’s got a lot of potential with is especially obvious on So Easy (To Fall In Love) and Man I Need. The latter of which is the song I really wanna point out as it’s yet again like WHERE IS MY HUSBAND? an example of a song that gets played constantly on the radio, arguably is overplayed but that doesn’t make you tired of hearing it.
Why? Because it’s a great song. A really good one. Despite those two I have to admit the ... read more
This is bliss to my ears. Seriously. Is it too long? No it fucking isn’t!
The buildup… THE BUILDUP!!! The first time the full sound hits is 2 and a half minutes into the song.
And then you realize it’s not even the full sound yet, it’s STILL BUILDUP!!!
This song is perfection. It’s perfection in perfection.
I can listen to this 5 times, maybe even 10 times in a row without getting bored. And for a song thats this long, that’s really something.
Okay yeah I needed a break, something more positive, I‘ll admit that. And I knew Let It Happen and New Person, Same Old Mistakes already. Holy shit this album is amazing! It’s like… so close to a 100. REALLY close. But I can’t put it higher. It is my highest 95 tho for sure. I like this a lot.
If you’d ask me, what album has a perfect first song AND a perfect last song… I’d say Currents.
Let It Happen is some of the best 8 minutes of music I have ... read more
Jesus fucking Christ
You cannot imagine how hyped I was for this.
And you cannot imagine how much I regret to have listened to this while at the same time not regretting it at all.
This… has got me on edge like very few things do. There were times where I genuinely looked around in my room. It’s 5 pm here. It’s not dark yet. But I felt… unease, scared, even unsafe in my own fucking room.
This is… oh my fucking god. I am… still processing this. And my ... read more

YOU‘RE TELLING ME VANISHER, HORIZON SCRAPER ISN‘T THE BEST ALBUM FROM 2025???
Seriously, this album is INSANE. What a first album, John Michel is gonna be playing in the big leagues some time let me tell you that, this man is AMAZING!
And yes I really think I slightly prefer this over Vanisher, Horizon Scraper. I doubt I ever had so much pure fun while listening to an album that on top has amazing lyrics as well. It is so, so good, I was like dancing all the time ... read more
Yeah solid song, I‘m not a swiftie, sorry to all you swifties who gar this a 100
It’s not that good. But I will say it is pretty good for her probably. For me it’s a little worse version of „The Fate of Ophelia“, I personally slightly prefer that one to be honest, but Hey
Oh yeah eve though I don’t exactly like that Taylor Swift‘s music made her that popular because I think it isn’t THAT good, we still gotta respect what she did and still does ... read more
Yeah, the rating fits. Perfectly in fact. And this collection of singles which were originally released in pairs of two can be rated in pairs of two as well if you ask me. We have two 100s, two 95s, two 90s and two 85s. At least that’s my opinion.
Now I don’t think u have to tell you that the songs are great, beautiful at most times even. I really enjoyed listening to this. It was really cool. I can see this being the best… box set (apparently that’s what it is, I ... read more
This was the first instance of 10-year old me learning who Dan Bull is and probably one of the earliest instances of me actually listening rap.
Does anyone else remember the times when this was for some reason used as a YouTube Ad? I‘ll never understand that. But I always liked it and when I first listened to it fully, I was like… hooked. I really liked it a lot. And I still do. This is a great rap song. Change my mind, seriously, I dare you.
Since I just rated the god awful New Religion that was first allowed to sample this song, now onto the holy, sacred original.
It is a pure classic of Dance tracks. An it deserves the status as a classic so, so much!
This is amazing, Faithless have created a true masterpiece with this one! I seriously doubt there’s a single person on this planet that has not once heard at least some part of Insomnia. No matter if you recognize or not, but I‘m sure you’ve heard it somewhere. ... read more
She tried to escape the Khia asylum. And she failed miserably. How is this rated so highly?
She mutilated Insomnia if you ask me, she slaughtered it, burned it on the stake and left it to rot in the darkest abyss of the Khia asylum she’s still stuck in but desperately tries to escape.
I‘m sorry but when I first listened to this I was really mad. This is the first song that was ever allowed to sample Insomnia… why did it have to be some Ava Max or David Guetta type shit??? ... read more
First up thanks to @Abstasix for recommending me this album. I really liked listening to this. As you can see from the rating it isn’t one of my absolute favorites but I still really enjoyed it.
It took me a little time to get into the vibe of the album, but once I got it, it was really cool. Now it’s really hard sadly for me to talk about this album. It has this… kind of captivating, almost beautiful sound without sounding purely beautiful, it’s really hard to ... read more
Very short but the quality is definitely pretty high as the worst song is an 80 for me. The best is a 90, so it’s also a very consistent EP, consistently on a very similar level. As you could expect I agree with the average ratings that tuck me in is the worst, but I have to say that secret admirer actually wasn’t my favorite on here.
Now I’d love to say more before getting to my conclusion, but this EP is so short that I really don’t know what else to say, sorry for ... read more
Um… why exactly is this the best rated album of this year so far? Don’t get me wrong, it’s really good, but compared to stuff like THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE or even The Fall-Off, it just falls short if you ask me. Like… yeah, cool it’s some Dance Music, we all like that, I get you, but… it wasn’t that special to me. I gotta admit, I actively dislike some of the songs on this album, which isn’t threaded for other albums. It’s just barely ... read more
Yeah I think you can count me as a shteppi fan.
I know I never gave her a 100 so far but… I can’t explain why, but I feel oddly comfortable when listening to anything of her… mostly. Or I’m just getting super emotional. Anyway it’s just always a really special experience for me and I adore listening to her stuff.
I will definitely check out ISSBROKIE as well, although I already expect it to be worse than everything she has released as shteppi. Don’t wanna ... read more
Alright, I wanted to listen to this for like a week already so now here we are.
I have no idea about the whole backstory of the artist, so I won‘t be talking about how great all that is. This album is once again one of those that gives off a very chill vibe and most of the songs are really cool, at some points it almost gave me Beatles vibes somehow, but maybe that’s just me and I‘m stupid again or something like that.
What really annoys me though is the length of Heart of ... read more
