Okay I don’t know why but I was for some reason hyped for this… and I mean, it’s good, but also pretty bland if you compare it to albums like Magical Mystery Tour or Let It Be which were the last Beatles albums I had listened to before going into this.
But that’s understandable, it’s an album from their beginning, so obviously it wasn’t going to be as developed as Let It Be. Still, I am slightly disappointed, but that’s probably because I had too high ... read more
What an end to their career. Seriously, this is… something special somehow.
This has so much positive. Two Of Us is a GREAT intro. I didn’t even know this song before. Slightly underrated if you ask me.
Then you have Dig A Pony… which is also underrated. I mean come on, 82? Seriously? It’s better than that…
Across the Universe is… possible their best ever song with an Indian touch. It’s seriously great. No doubt about the 100 here for me.
Then we ... read more
So, our history teacher showed us part of the album two weeks ago while we talked about the post modern era. We mostly talked about the cover and album title obviously.
But now let’s get to the album. If you ask me, you can split this into two parts. The first half is by far the better one. Even though it’s missing a 100 for me, I really like the first half, especially Sister Moonshine, which is slightly underrated if you ask me. The guitar and drums are so good on that song in ... read more
First: things will change from now on. I’m not exactly happy with my reviews, so I’ll make them a bit more detailed from now on. So buckle up!
Okay, I expected to like this, but I didn’t expect it to be this good. This is (right now) a Top 25 album for me.
We start off with the Title track Magical Mystery Tour, which is absolutely amazing, no doubt about it. However, there’s just… something missing somehow, although I can’t point my finger at.
But exactly ... read more
Let’s change the anime once again.
Actually had a presentation about Death Note in school. Wasn’t that great tho, I kinda spoilered everything to everyone… yeah I know I‘m stupid.
Anyway, this is really amazing. Way better than the second opening if you ask me. But, I‘ll be honest. I once again actually prefer the TV Size version. But in this it might just be because I just… the memories, I think you get me lol
This is underrated. To be completely honest, when I first watched AoT I really didn’t like this opening at all. It just felt like a worse version of Guren No Yumiya to me.
But here I stand, proven wrong after rewatching the whole series with some friends of mine. And yes, it’s great. Especially the full version has so much to offer actually.
Oh and it’s season 3, which is the best season in my opinion. And it’s the intro of possible the best arc of the entire show. So ... read more
This is a very strong contender for the title of best AoT opening. But to me, it just slightly loses to Shinzou wo Sasageyo and… possible Guren No Yumiya.
But I‘m actually not fully sure there. Those 3 are the best tho, no doubt about it if you ask me.
And to make a song actually feel like… well, like you’re actually going to war… they really nailed it
Okay, Let’s Take a break from My Hero Academia but stick with Anime openings.
Introducing… hm?
RUMBLING, RUMBLING, IT‘S COMING RUMBLING
Yeah, do I even need to say why this is great? I don’t think so, you all know probably
The TV Size version is a 100, no doubt about it. But this is worse than the TV Size version. At least in my opinion…
But we’ll, my opinion here changes a lot anyway. At first I didn’t like it at all and then it was my favorite MHA opening before Make My Story came around and claimed the throne (at least for now).
So idk, maybe it‘ll get better in the future, who knows. But even though it’s worse than the TV Size version, it’s still great
Not gonna lie, I believe this is somewhat underrated. The sports festival is a really cool arc and this opening not only fits very well but is also a Banger in general.
The intro of the song is really good and there’s basically no let down. It’s just… not exactly a 100, but it’s close
It’s good, really good. But the talking part is strange, kinda pulls it down for me.
I actually prefer the TV Size version here, mainly because of the talking part, it’s just a bit weird to me. But besides that, this song is actually amazing. Has a whole different vibe than the others kinda. It feels kinda chill if you get what I mean. But that’s part of what I enjoy about it so much. But then the chorus is really nice again, but more flashy than the verses.
It’s a ... read more
Since we‘re on the topic of My Hero Academia, I might as well rate all the opening I‘ve listened to so far.
I didn’t like this one’s first, but I‘ve grown to actually enjoy it. Just less than other openings. It’s the worst so far (for context I’m currently at the end of season 3).
Also, am I the only one who thinks the band name is kinda wild?
So, I‘m currently watching My Hero Academia for the first time.
Long story short, this is not the only the current intro at the point where I am, but it’s also my favorite opening from the series so far. And Oh my God the full version is even better.
The music in general is peak, the intro of the song is amazing, the drums are so fucking good, and then there‘s the guitar solo. Wonderful if you ask me. Sure, there are better guitar riffs but you know what? Fuck that!
This is ... read more
Yeah uh, this was… disappointing. After the release of Manchild I had kinda hoped for a second Short n Sweet, but… this is somehow Short n Sweet but way worse.
It’s worse from every perspective, I really don’t know what sheets going for.
It’s just more… bland. And to say this about a Sabrina Carpenter album that still has the corny lyrics is… kinda sad.
Yes it was still corny, but not in the same way as Short n Sweet. At least it felt like that ... read more
I think everyone has some connection with this song and I also think everyone is absolutely heartbroken when we heard that Chris Rea died.
He really made a generational song here, not just one for Christmas, but generally an absolutely beautiful song.
May he rest in peace. An absolute legend.
Rest In Peace Chris Rea.
We won’t ever forget you or this song. I swear!
Merry Christmas everyone
And may y‘all remember the great Chris Rea
I mean, everybody knows this song. It’s iconic. And it is for a reason.
Also, why is there only 1 review so far and it’s literally from 20 minutes ago, like what?
Yeah… they really did a great Christmas song with this one, not much else to say.
So (you know what’s coming): Happy Christmas everyone :)
Wait wait wait
YOU‘RE TELLING ME I DIDN‘T RATE AND REVIEW THIS LAST YEAR???
Okay to be fair I literally only learned last year that it even existed but I absolutely loved it from the start.
So yeah, here, we have an example of John and Yoko actually making a great piece of music and not some total Bullshit (I think we all know what kind of songs I‘m talking about).
And man, this is such a great Christmas song. Actually, this might be one of the best ever. And it‘s ... read more
Yes I am having a break from 2025 stuff for Christmas again (maybe should have said that before I posted the Band Aid review lol)
And while I know it’s not yet Christmas for everyone, for some it is, for example, for me.
So yeah, this one is a lot better than Temporary Secretary (to do a little throwback, so who of you guys remembers it, hmmmm?).
It might be a little weird, yes, but I agree. It hits during christmastime. Why are y‘all hating so much on Christmas songs (no no, I ... read more
I don’t get how some say this is one of the worst Christmas songs. There are so much worse (fo example All I Want for Christmas is You)
The project was a great idea and this song is super iconic.
And especially the „feeeed theeee woooorld“ part really stuck with me. Yes I do really like this.
So… Happy Christmas everyone :)
My friend kept telling me to listen to this for at least one month now sooo… here we are.
And I mean, it was quite obvious that it would be a 100, right? It’s again an album where you first have to get into the vibe, but I think you can do that pretty quick. And my god this is awesome!
This is definitely the best album of 2025 (at least out of the ones I‘ve listened to so far, and yes, I‘m still not done, so keep checking my profile).
It’s really really good. ... read more
