So, since I just listened to The Never Story I thought why not listen to the other album that’s missing me to complete „all albums of artist XY“, in this case the GOAT Kendrick Lamar.
However, this is JUST BARELY a 90. I mean it’s still a good album, but when compared to Kendrick‘s other albums… it kinda sucks lol
Don get me wrong, the are absolute great songs like Keisha‘s Song, but then there also Tammy‘s song… which is absolutely ... read more
Final Part of my J.I.D. Deep Dive
Too me pretty long to finish my Deep Dive… I guess I was avoiding this because I knew it would be the worst.
And: surprise, it isn’t! Seriously, I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed this album.
Yes, I prefer this over DiCaprio 2. While DiCaprio 2 does have more Bangers, it has also worse songs than The Never Story. It’s really close, but personally, I like The Never Story a Little Bit more.
Best Song: NEVER

Alright, 3/4 done with my J.I.D. Deep Dive.
I gotta say this is still really good, however it’s definitely the weakest I‘ve listened so far. Don‘t get me wrong, the run from the fourth to the seventh song is absolutely amazing, but especially the second half of the album just isn’t it for me.
While there are some Bangers, there are also some of JIDs worst songs I‘ve listened so far. Thats what pulls this down. Still a solid album though, a 85 is by no means bad or ... read more
Second part of my J.I.D. Deep Dive, I promised there would be another review today.
I‘m sorry, but after The Forever Story, this is… pretty disappointing. I had hoped for something on a similar level, but it just isn’t. It’s not even close to it if you ask me.
Anyway, Sk8 is criminally underrated if you ask me! And wtf was the Don Toliver doing? Bro really… pulled down the song alone… however he did that.
Best Song: Community

Alright, before I start my review: I‘ll start a J.I.D. Deep Dive now (my first ever real deep dive btw) cause I‘ll be going to a concert of him in march next year. And Man… I am SO HYPED for it already.
This is FUCKING GREAT. I don’t have to tell you that JID is a peak lyricist, everyone knows that by now.
But JESUS, this album is soooooo goooood. The first half might just be the best half album I‘ve ever listened to. Everything from Raydar to Kody Blu 31 is a ... read more
10 Follower Special - Part 10
Alright, we‘re Done, Part 10/10. In the meantime I‘ve grown to a whopping 11 followers, would believe that?
Anyway… as much as it hurts to say, I feel like I enjoy this album a lot less than others, even though it’s without a doubt one of the best albums ever. It’s just outside of my Top 10 favorite album and Imm sorry to say that, but I can’t really rank it any higher.
Please do not hate me for that, Stevie Wonder is a ... read more
10 Follower Special - Part 9
My GOD! This is so hard to rate. I think you can see from my ratings that this album is SO FUCKING GOOD. But, is it my favorite album? Part of me says absolutely YES! The other part of me says that basically half of the album (Shine On You Crazy Diamond to be exact) isn’t playlist material and therefore I don’t really know if I like it more than Abbey Road, Graduation and Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers.
It beats Grace (as sad as this is to say for me ... read more
10 follower Special - Part 8
Okay it was… pretty similar to OK Computer. Radiohead just isn’t entirely my style, but I do still like both albums a lot. However, I must admit that I enjoyed OK Computer more than this one. It is still incredibly good, don’t get me wrong, but I just prefer OK Computer.
It was again somehow that I wasn’t instantly in the right mood or something, but this time I entered it already at the second song, so it didn’t take me as long as ... read more
10 follower Special - Part 7
Ugh, another one that’s tough to rate for me.
Look, it is absolutely amazing, no doubt about it. But… it’s not the style of music I‘m usually putting on my playlist and stuff, you get what I mean?
I do really like it, but at the same time, it isn’t fully my style, but it’s still more my style than other albums that I already listened to during this follower special.
Is it a 100? No
Is it close? Actually yes
Even though it ... read more
10 Follower Special - Part 6
First of all, sorry for letting you wait so long. I promise I’ll be faster for the rest.
Why is half of the Top 10 some experimental shit? Like don’t get me wrong, it’s amazing, but… at the same it isn’t fully my style.
In case your looking for something to put on your playlist… skip this album, the shortest track is still 18 minutes long. Also, it’s really hard to even find this album. I literally needed help from my ... read more
10 follower special - Part 5
Wow… I… It’s hard to even write a review here.
I went into this with no expectations at all and still got surprised. This is… so different from basically everything I‘ve heard before. But I like it. She has an absolutely stunning voice and I especially liked the orchestral parts or the parts with a choir a lot. Also I really like her accent but maybe that’s just the normal Icelandic accent, I don’t know.
But man, ... read more
10 follower special - Part 4
Wow… I have no idea what I‘ve just listened to. It was super weird, but also really really cool. I don’t understand the whole experimental stuff and as I said it is really weird at times, but the flows are crazy. The rhymes are fire and the music is just… well it’s just there but not the main part (except for the instrumental tracks of course).
Would I listen to this album again? I have no idea
Would I listen to the songs without ... read more
10 follower special - Part 3
I feel so bad right now. I only knew Marvin Gaye because of the fucking Charlie Puth song about him. I am truly sorry, please don’t banish me for that.
And… yeah I‘m sorry but this isn’t a 100 for me. Don’t get me wrong, this album has some of the best transitions I‘ve ever experienced, which is absolutely insane for an album that will turn 55 years old next year. And there isn’t one bad song on here, it’s super ... read more
10 follower special - Part 2
According to my description, an album with a 100 is a masterpiece. And if this isn’t a masterpiece, I don’t know what is. This is beautiful in so many different ways. If you could only have one album, like Jeff Buckley… then it should be something like this. The feelings I have felt while listening to this are not able to be put into words. What I can say though, is that it was absolutely wonderful.
I knew this would be a 100. I just knew it ... read more
10 follower special - Part 1
To expose my big plan for my 10 follower special: I‘ll be listening to the 10 best rated albums that I haven’t already listened to (So TPAB, GKMC, Illmatic and Abbey Road don‘t count). So this is the first one.
And… ugh, this is tough to rate for me. I‘m not particularly a Jazz fan. Now I actually can say that after I finally listened to a full Jazz album. It was of course amazing, like don’t get me wrong. But I‘d never ... read more
Yeah uh… this is… ear cancer
Bro On Sight almost sounds amazing compared that. Don‘t do it, even though it’s just 1 minute and 22 seconds. DON‘T DO IT! You‘ll regret it…
You may ask yourself: Why did you listen to this?
Uh… cause I have 10 subscribers and this has a user score of 10 and as is short enough to listen to real quick. Yeah I know, impressive.
But don’t worry, I have a 10 subscriber special planned. Can‘t ignore you ... read more
Well, I decided to listen to this just because I‘m currently hyperfixating on the opening track. And I gotta say: This is fine. It‘s fun but there’s just no real Banger except for Angel with a Shotgun.
Btw, how is that song only rated a 73 when all of you guys are literally hyping it? Like every review I read praised this song so how is it not the best rated song on here?
Anyway, there are some weak songs of course but that’s not too bad. To me, this album kinda sounds ... read more
The lyrics aren’t really impressive… not at all. Like, sometimes they‘re just complete bullshit. The sound is really awesome though.
So I actually like this song quite a lot, even though it is rather uninspired and plain
I know that I‘ll get so much hate for this, but let me explain
Yes, he just straight up copied the song from Shontelle. I know that. However, I really gotta say I prefer the sound of this version (except for the final part, that‘s the worst part here).
Now why do I prefer this version?
Because it sounds more depressing. And I believe this is how a song with such lyrics is supposed to sound. James Arthur manages to bring much more sadness into the song than Shontelle. And I do ... read more
