had a similar situation to a lot of people with which I've spoken about this album in that it took a few relistens for me to really enjoy it, but it's definitely grown on me a lot.
a blend of electronic and acoustic tracks with an interesting dance-y atmosphere. however, electronic elements sometimes worked in its detriment: usually autotune harshly chopping an otherwise emotional or tender moment of a song. another gripe being that the last two tracks could benefit from being longer and fuller, with perhaps some extra depth and emphasis on the closer (despite being my two favourite tracks on the album).
a frantic, unorganised jumble of samples, infrequently interjected by incredibly-ephemeral glimpses of melodic awareness that really only feel like the disassembled bones of a cohesive music piece. disappointing on the whole.
good background music. however, virtually nothing of substance over the brief 14-minute runtime. doesnt do much more than fill silence.
easy to listen to, heartfelt, pleasant. unfortunately, lyricism needs work.
