i shit you not the reason i listened to this album was because there was a box of cds outside a house in a neighborhood i was walking around on monday and i grabbed it and some other stuff too. the cd didnt even have cover art or nothing it just had sans serif text printed on the disc itself with the album name. to be honest i kinda like that more. deftones jumpscare in the final track??? lol.

It is kind of awesome that a drone album is so mainstream. Wait this is an ep. How tf is this an ep. What
My first full album of Jamie's and i hobestly think her work w flavor foley is a lot better (it's just more flavorful!! hahahaha) as a lot of this album sounded a bit too "formulaic" for lack of a better word- that is, she falls back on a handful of pop songwriting tricks that work for bold and memorable singles, but get a tad old in a 17 track album (and sometimes within a song's own runtime: i dont think any of these rlly needed to be >4 minutes). HOWEVER! The ... read more
Thought "it's fine, but i probably wont listen to it again" a week ago and then played it nonstop on loop the past couple days. Idk man it scratches that itch for "retro" vocaloid (aged 20 years typing that) with a strong concept (narratively AND visually) and really fun execution.

Definitely for the best that this was never released, especially in 2012. I don't think it's as strong as their other stuff, and it doesn't really have any hooks (kind of reminds me of house of wolves' original draft), but i'd be lying if i said i wasnt happy to hear it. I know "happy" is kind of a weird word to use for this album though. It just seems perfect that the album that made them break up was finally fully leaked while they're in the middle of a ... read more
The live stuff is fine idrgaf but the deep cuts are where it's at. those demos made me think of the band Cowpers (this is a compliment of the highest degree)
People disliking the album are doing so bc it's not as iconic as depeche mode's previous output (which i also prefer tbh) but they fail to realize that these synthesizers are bangin yo
Thought the pooping and other profanity was stupid but the rest of this sounds like a spongebob themed haunted house and really what more could you want. Fucking amazing
Im not watching this movie lmao but i do love a good synth and this has a good synth or two
