My 100th review! I'm celebrating by reviewing one of the most acclaimed albums of all time; OK Computer!

This album is very great, yet I feel as though it's been overhyped. It's crazy to give an album a 9/10 and say it's overrated, but I've heard so much praise for this album, that I was expecting it to be a life-changing experience, and it's just... really great but completely mind-blowing. I think a large reason for this is because OK Computer was probably very groundbreaking for the time, but a lot of the experimental things it did are normal in music nowadays. I've heard many other albums do similar things, but this was the first album to do those things and make them mainstream.

Anyways, despite feeling as though this album is overrated, I really do love this album. Every track is an amazing experience, and Thom's vocal performances on this album are excellent. Each track is so ethereal and oddly eerie. The lyrics are fantastic, though I'm not gonna get into them here, since so many other people have done reviews where they dive deep into the lyricism and themes. Musically, this album is produced phenomenally, and the instrumentation feels very dynamic and sounds really nice and clean.

Every track on here is amazing, except for "Karma Police", which I find to be very overrated. It's a good song, but by no means is it amazing. I've tried re-listening to it many times, and to me it's just kind of uninteresting compared to the rest of the album. It's still a good track, just the weakest by far. However, my absolute favorite track here is "Exit Music (For A Film)". It's easily the most interesting song on this album, and the only song I was genuinely mindblown by. The song is so gentle and ominous, until it crescendos into this beautiful and stunning moment at the end. The vocal performance is so fantastic on this track, I genuinely LOVE this song.

Other highlights for me are the opener, "Airbag", which does a great job at setting the tone for the album. "Paranoid Android" is easily the most dynamic song on the album. "Subterranean Homesick Alien" is super atmospheric and immersive. "Electioneering" is one of the most unique songs on here, if not the most unique, yet it fits right in and is easily the most energetic on the album. "No Surprises" is a beautiful melancholic track and, despite having some of the most simple instrumentation on the album, the simplicity is used to great effect and creates a stunning song. The closer, "The Tourist", is a great way to end the album and wraps up the themes of the album perfectly.

Overall, OK Computer is a great album with many amazing tracks, beautiful lyrics, and immersive instrumentals, though somehow, despite this album being as good as it is, I still found it to be overrated due to just how much this album has been hyped up for me over the years.
