This is a great track unfortunately held back by Peggy himself. The instrumental is really good, but his flow and lyricism just kill it. He had the opportunity to do something more emotionally driven with this track, but instead we got the same flow and lyric style he's been doing for 3 years now. The crescendo in the second half of the song is pretty good, but since the rest of the track is so aimless and weak, it just feels undeserved. I like this song but I really wish it did more. This just feels like a bonus track from I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU. Albeit, that was a great album, but I think it's time Peggy moves on from the "rap rock" sound, or at least does something new with it. The longest 3 minutes of my life. I really do not know how to feel about Foo Fighters right now. They're on such a hit or miss streak right now.

"But Here We Are" was a fantastic album, but their next song after that, "Today's Song", was very bad. But then, they followed that up with "Asking For A Friend", which is one of their best songs. I unfortunately didn't like this very much. The instrumental was pretty good, and I liked some of the lyrics. But my main issue with this is the vocals, which sound pretty poorly mixed and poorly performed at some points. They strongly hold back the song.
