Not world-changing as was promised. Maybe I don't see the vision, but that's okay, Fakemink forgives me
Now, this album isn't as bad as social media will tell you; it is a sharp drop-off from the usual quality that you will find with a Peggy record. The album isn't bloated, due to the song lengths, but I wish it were shorter with more focus on the individual songs, making them longer. This album really just suffers from inconsistencies in the production and lyrics. I don't think Peggy is washed, I think it's just a rare miss from the Brooklyn native
He has this Dean Blunt Edge to him that I really appreciate hearing. Grey Sky Lunacy is fantastic!
Know your rights so you too can call out cops for being bastards for ruining your home... and fuck their wives too.
It's rare to find James Blake missing, and im glad that this isn't an exception.
D'Anglo's SAXONphone.
Jack Harlow Soul Food: Salted white rice, boiled chicken, still water and a side of Graham Crackers
RnBe gentrified. This is what happens when y'all let white niggas listen to Brent Faiyaz.
He's too nonchalant; he did not grow up with Slik-Shirt rnb. He's not yearning for it. He's not begging for it. Not self-destructing for just a peek at her legs. HE GOTTA CRY FOR THE PUSSY, THROW UP FOR IT. IT GOTTA HURT HIS SOUL WHEN SHE LEAVES

The Beatles, Gorillaz... more bands should just get lost in India.
Damascus, Orange County and The Manifesto are truly remarkable
Love seeing Keem back dropping music with Ca$ino, being some part introspective and some parts goofy. Whilst I appreciate the deconstruction of the family dynamics that shaped Baby Keem's formative years, him having fun with vocal inflexions and the interesting ideas being put on the table, the instrumentals do at times feel like they need more or don't gel well with the lyrics. I didn't "walk out" this experience feeling like the beats really reflected what Baby Keem ... read more
Investing in some more Hemlocke Springs stocks!!! An album full of whimsy and melodies/choruses that stick like bubblegum.
It's the yearning that gets you, and he's so fucking poetic with it. Lover, You Should've Come Over will kill me one day.
Jeff Buckley, the soulful voice of an Angel.
Joji is back, under a new label, we're happy, and whilst there are some great songs within the bunch (Sojourn, Past Won't Leave My Bed, PIXELATED KISSES, Hotel California, Dior), this album is riddled with songs that feel underdeveloped. Songs that I wish were longer and fully fleshed out, and not giving the impression that they were throwaways. This album is also sprinkled with songs that are very fucking forgettable, like the one with 4bats and Forehead Touch the Ground. What I do ... read more

Quadeca never fails to impress me, and I love how he always tries to challenge himself and aim higher with his releases. His artistry and his catalogue will be one for the ages in a decade. I hope that his skill gets recognised by the right people
And they said rap was dead. Lies. By Storm, now a duo, still hit the creative peaks heard on the last Injury Reserve album.
A very good score from AG. Makes me excited to see the movie when that happens.
Milk and Honey is the best of an okay batch of songs. Vocals do get too much for the ears on songs like Blow the speaker and throughout the ep, his lyricism left more to be desired.
