A MASTERPIECE OF ITS TIME
As i was only 5 years old when this album released, i would of course say that i wasn’t there for the drop.
BUT listening to this album makes me at least, excellently experience this era of rap.
Rick Ross has a lot of music out, some of it not so good, some of it better, but this is definitely his only project that excels in consistency and a polished unique sound.
Teflon Don’s sound and the world it creates is really fascinating as it is mostly the ... read more

This is a good album. You can hear Lucki tapping into his Future influence a little bit more in this record. Purple Reign kinda vibes. But it is still Lucki though, one of his biggest strengths in this album is letting the tracks play smoothly, not even once in this album did it feel like the transition would be too sudden or anything like that. Lucki Camel Jr. also at this point in his career has mastered his ”drugged out” style of rapping, many times showing how ... read more
What my rating is based on: my tracklist rating's average + bonus points (max 2 for album cover, max 4 for a consistent meaning or a story throughout the album, max 4 for entertainment value)

Bush getting shot at by Tech ... read more
A very big drop in quality from "Culture". There are a lot of problems in this album, but i'm in a hurry right now so i'll just list the main two problems: LENGTH, too goddamn long for an album, if they really felt the need to release this many songs, they should've broke down this album to two albums or an EP and an album, so because of the length combined with the repetitiveness, it gets really boring. CONSISTENCY, "Culture II" is the most unconsistent album i've ever ... read more
Great on paper, boring on listen. Like i said, this album/compilation had so much potential with the great line-up of rappers and producers, but when you listen to the album, you will start counting how many minutes there are left halfway through. There are a few tracks though that i really recommend listening to without suffering the whole 2 hour shit.
These are the ones i recommend: Pop Sh*t, Ice Tray, My Dawg (basically a remix of the real Lil Baby song), Mediterranean, South Africa, Bosses ... read more
