Been looking forward to this one, and yeah it is really good. I was surprised how few hard rock songs there were, much of the album are more mid tempo anthemic songs and ballads. But these for the most part land really well. The opener "At the Bottom" is my favourite non single, with Safe and Sound by far being my favourite single. My main critique is the last 4 tracks all being slower songs (in an 18 track long album) does cause the ending portion of the album to drag a little bit. ... read more
Sooooo, I kinda fuck with this. Guilty pleasure is probably the best way to describe it. I can absolutely see the shallow song writing, cringy themes and 'poserness' of it. But I can help but enjoy myself with each listen. Some songs do straight up suck, ay! most notably. And yeah, Emo Girl is not winning any awards for storytelling. But the songs are catchy and I enjoy MGK's rough and abrasive delivery, the latter i do believe works to his advantage in a punk setting. Born with ... read more
To begin, The Chapeltown Rag is no doubt my number 1 Slipknot song. Not even a competition for me. However, putting that one bias aside, this album is really enjoyable. I love how balls to the wall hard some of the vocals go, Chapeltown, Warranty and H377 are the prime examples of this. This sort of style is when the band is at their best. Linking to that, the clean vocals are slightly hit or miss. They sound amazing on tracks such as Yen, but in other songs such as Dying Song, Heirloom and ... read more
So, rather unexpectedly, this might be one of my favourite pure pop punk albums...ever? My main issue with many purely pop punk albums is that songs can begin to feel slightly samey during a playthrough. But every song on this album has its own distinct identity, and it feels like there is no filler on here, despite the 15 song track list. Viva Las Vegas Nerve, Little Bit and Butterflies are all highlights, and perfectly represent how the band can branch out into different types of pop-punk and ... read more
Despite this album having clearer weaknesses than some of Muse's other works, this might be my favourite album
from them. The highs of Reapers, The Handler, Psycho and Dead Inside outweigh the low points of Revolt and Mercy. The military and rock focus of the album really works for me, so the entire aesthetic and story of the album just clicks. Disregarding the 10 minute 'The Globalist' song, this album is shorter than their previous works, meaning it it very replayable and easy ... read more
This album has taken a few months to grow on me, but now with time, it might be my favourite Three Days Grace album. Each song really stands out on its own, and doesn't blend in with other tracks on the album, which I sometimes feel is the case on some of their other albums. In Cold Blood, Deathwish and, The Power and Kill Me Fast are all absolute bangers. The weakest song is probably Never Ordinary, but it still is not bad, just a bit more mid. I do really love the dual vocalist approach, ... read more
My favourite Korn album. It holds my favourite Korn song (H@rd3r), the lyrics of the album is sometimes pretty devastating, and i find this is the album where the songs don't start meshing together, which to me is sometimes an issue on other Korn albums. All the songs stand out on their own, and this is an album where I think the deep cuts are often better than the released singles

A very solid, fun pop punk album, just nothing that overly stands out, especially compared to their later discography. Every song is at least good, but can sometimes start blend together towards the latter stages of the album. But it doesn't drag and is enjoyable all the way through

Didn't really expect much when listening for the first time, but Goddamn this is my favourite album of 2025. Despite being a Shinedown fan, I enjoy this album more than any of theirs. The songs all are just so unbelievably catchy and memorable, and especially considering everything was handled by one person, the production, mixing and song writing is honestly fantastic. I also love how unapologetically over the top it is. The albums story telling and presentation is not afraid to be ... read more
It isn't too bad. The production unfortunately is a consistent issue, no huge changes have seemingly be made since the backlash of the first single Nod. However, putting that aside, it is a solid collection of songs. My favourites include 'Black crown' and 'I Want it All'. Whilst the album is very safe for this band, there are no outright bad songs, just some forgettable ones. But honestly, after the first two singles, this is a better album than I feared it would be
