I went back for a relisten. Phew this is just like a bowl of oatmeal with chia seeds and peanut butter. The songwriting is excellent obv it wouldn't be rated so high but this is not for me anymore. I'd be embarrassed of myself to recommend this to someone off cuff. But yeah it's twee acoustic guitar primary school emotion-core. Runnin' Down a Dream is a top 5 supermarket jam. The soundtrack to the flying car cheat in San Andreas as well.
Pretty good rock n' roll, Tom has such great delivery on every track. The songwriting is simple and lean like steak and potatoes.
but if it was steak and potatoes it would be 'fartland rock' because steak makes you gassy
