AFI: Sing The Sorrow is a cinematic emo-punk drama. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Butch Vig's production...

Decent.

Don't think of it as a tribute, this is one of the best 80's albums ever!

Catchy and polished emo. I like it, it's not as heavy as it could be though.

It's just so relistenable for me.

Seamless, singer-songwriter-inspired, and creative pop/rock album. Is that enough labels? The emotions are strong and more expressive than impressionistic.

Lyrics from my mind...this album has no words because it left me speechless enough to be this unfunny.

This is the indie rock equivalent to Against Me's "Reinventing Axl Rose" not their most developed, but a great start that i think will get better with age mayhaps???

Modern, political, and ripe with 70's influences (in a good way)!

It's literally like they listened to the Melvin's song, named themselves after it, and made it their mission to stretch their take on the song into four 15-minute segments... quite literally.

Seriously though, I feel like Gorillaz phase -2 was a cool evolution, with more guitar pedals (if you thought their previous albums didn't have enough already).

Expensive garage rock...but it's still cool.

The dystopia known as Earth...it sucks there...

I like it.

It's produced very well, it's not bad, it's just not my favorite by them. And if that pisses you off, believe me, this is not my "worst" opinion from about their discography.
