Honestly a big nostalgia pick here, but man this album creates such an environment with it's instrumentation and it is just so pleasant living within it

In a summer of many "songs of the summer" this one does edge out the rest I do believe

I just find it very funny that pitchfork gave short n' sweet a higher rating than this. I enjoy this album, I think the first half and last couple of songs are excellent but some of the middle stuff just lost me...

the first 2/3 of this song is actually pretty good, little too much screaming can be looked over cause the productions honestly builds well. the last 1/3 of the song tho wut. bro please stop screaming, genuinely by the end it starts sounding soooo strained and so bad

I feel like the instrumental passages on here could soundtrack a good A24 movie. There are loads of neat sounds that feel very open and put an image in your head.... it isn't very memorable which is my main issue with it, but it's honestly pretty cool

Edit- 79->95. This album is actually very memorable and has become a reliable album that I can walk somewhere with both my headphones in and feel awesome. It's one of my favorites

It's not like billie is filtered in her music, but this album is a special kinda unfiltered that I don't think we'll ever get back to

Honestly so conflicted because 4 out of the 13 tracks are sooooo skippable, but that weighed against the value of the other songs pushes this album ahead quite a bit. I think this album is just weird, and can be really underrated, and occasionally overrated.
