Honest to god might be one of the best debut albums I have ever heard from an artist. You can tell he mixed, mastered, wrote, and produced it all himself, because the sound and themes are so consistent in the best way, but every song felt so different at the same time.

This one is gonna take a few listens to process. A deeply personal album on Phoebe Bridgers' end, but a rare personal project that I feel also speaks so truthfully about my own experiences, from faith to love to the psych ward and everything in between. This was special.

I was already a fan of Maggie before I heard this, but even as someone that had heard every project previously, this is a huge leap to me! Vocally, production wise, melodically, everything just feels like a major leap, while still staying within her traditional sound. There's a lot of very clear inspiration drawn here, and I'm not entirely sure this album does enough to make me want to listen to it MORE than its predecessors. But still, a Bruno Mars album rarely lets me down, and I had a really fun time with this. It's short, simple, and safe in a way that I feel lets it down at times, but in general Bruno's voice and emotion carries through in an enjoyable way.
Also a pretty big fan of some of the songwriting in here!
