At first, hearing the introduction track made me giddy. I immediately felt the familiar lofi-centric instrumentals I yearn for. However, that’s the only good thing I have to say. Milo goes on about virtually nothing for the rest of this album. Nothing of value was lost. Nothing of value was said.
Atlas is an artist that I had inadvertently stumbled upon, and since then, she has quickly grown to be one of my favorite rappers. Something about this early to mid 2010's lofi-rap had really clicked for me, and I've been in love with it since then. The thing is--many of these artists have grown to be sort of niche. I have so much but so little to say.
I mean, this is just so edgy. Peggy makes himself out to be this intentional contrary figure, but it doesn't work. He's asking for the drama, but it's not worth giving it to him. I'm not gonna waste anymore time on this.
