Not really sure what I think of this. Some tracks are really good but it does sound kinda generic.
This soundtrack sounds like Hans Zimmer fell asleep on an organ and it's absolutely beautiful.
After NFR my expectations were through the roof and sadly, this album didn't quite meet them for me. It's still a work of art though and does take some time to grow on you, like White Dress and Yosemite, which took me a while to really appreciate.
I love this. Personally, I don't mind the change in style at all. They still produced some amazing, unique songs and that's all that matters for me. My favorites are Animals, Discourse Is Dead, Impermanence (a great surprise actually) and Black Lungs.
How unique is this album? Beautiful, sometimes even haunting, vocals and powerful instruments, great combo. My favorites are "Red Summer", "Nurture" and "Lily & The Moon".
What a banger. "Dear Diary" hit me without preparation, it's something I never expected to hear from them ever again. "Kingslayer" is incredible (the feature I didn't know I needed) and the singles don't slap any less then they used to. Easily in my top 3 of 2020.
Solid, the singles are still the best songs though. The very last track is amazing in its own way.
I want to rate this album higher but something's not convincing me. "Golden" is an amazing track
Perfection. Every song slaps. I don't care what anyone says. People just love hating popular things.
No lie, this album saved my teenage years I will forever cherish it
Made me who I am, every song is a banger and this one album shaped the entire genre
