I unironically love this track. Every time I hear it it instantly boosts my mood.
I understand the cultural impact that this album has. Unfortunately that didn' t make the listening experience any less boring for me.
2025 edit (38 -> 82) yeah no I was smoking something. This stuff is haunting.
This album has some really high highs and some really low lows. Track 19 was genuine ear cancer but that cover of Ave Maria was so awful I wasn't able to finish it (also the only song I didn't finish). Overall it's a true mixed bag. Still, 1/10 is incredibly obsessive.
Edit: Wow #9 on the worst list? Jesus Christ dude
Thank you for dethroning I'm Good from the #1 on the Dance/Electronic chart. Your service is much appreciated.
I'm going to flex to my future children that I was alive when the Beatles released their last song.
This is what a bad drug trip sounds like.
Edit: excuse me what
I remember my dad always listening to God Went North from this album and me always thinking: "Oh God, it's the screaming girl song again".
Then I sat down and actually listened to it knowing the context and bawled my eyes out.
12/10 song
Transcendental in a way only Nurture paralleled. Those ending tracks are stunning.
