Fire pop punk album that just keeps pressing on the gas. Ego peek mid and 777 have been on repeat for the past year.
I feel like the vocal screaming isn't for everyone but if you like Prince Daddy at all you should really like this :)
Some of his most mature song writing, short but strong guest performances, and a great selection of instrumentals make this a standout album for me.
Very mid. For the Voidz I expected a lot more, especially off of Prophecy of the Dragon.
I didn't listen to 7 horses or... overture as a single (why was an interlude a single lol). 7 horses to me was a standout, I really do like how most of it sounds sonically. While a more entertaining album than anything he's put out in a while, the albums lyrics feel like something Tom Macdonald would write.
The old Eminem edge does NOT work today at all -- it feels forced most of the time.
It'd be like if Tyler the Creator casually put out an album that was like Bastard today. It'd just feel...weird?
The final song on the album is actually pretty nice and the album has some fun moments -- but overall it just does not click for me.
This song has some good moments, and I do enjoy the Voidz use of autotune sometimes..
however this song in particular is hindered heavily by it.
