I randomly played it and never expect it to be this great! Literally I liked all the tracks and the only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because idk if it will stand the test of time and age well but for sake of now, this shit is amazing!
I think I prefer this version a little bit more than the album's version just cause of the mixing.
Probably one of the most relatable songs of my life, which it was hard for me to listen to it at first.
MID
WOMAN BEATER
LIAR
LAZY
DRAGS ON FOR TOO LONG CAUSE OF STREAMS AND ALBUM SALES
(I'd go for the last one for the album's title)
Not as memorable as their last LP, but honestly that's not something to nag about considering VOBBB just set the bar really high up cause of it's greatness. But yeah I dig the whole aesthetic that they gone with on this one!
It's pretty much a laidback album with beautiful moments here and there. The singles are probably the best songs on here.
Kind of music that makes you grateful for living even tho you're depressed af
You know what? This might actually be FJM's BEST SONG! I really don't know how I got the obsession with this song but what I know is that I listened to this song for the (first time) after almost 4 years of listening to FJM's discography. And yet I haven't been able to listen to this album probably. But anyway, this song is fantastic :)
I wanna know what did Tyler said to Yachty cause GODDAMN this is ridiculous! This is one of the few collaboration albums I've seen over the years that doesn't make you feel like it's an album from artist x featuring artist y over the tracks. It feels like each of them contributed their best to this album, and it paid off. It was well worth the hype!
Vince once again proves that he's the star of his own show. Dark Times doesn't include any major features. But throughout this 35 minutes, he manages to keep the listeners entertained, with the album's production which makes Vince's work sounds more fresh and sharper than his two last LP. Overall an instant classic that doesn't need to ruin the fun in it's own songs to standout.
Sometimes I think to myself. What would happened if I listened to Channel Orange first. Because right now, everytime I go back to that album I just can't get the complete enjoyment that other people get. And this is one of those times where the gap between two albums show their effects. And wow cause this album shows that it's done by a experienced artist. Frank goddam Ocean. But there's also a scarry thing about the future of Frank Ocean's music. Look, if he released an album within the 2 ... read more
There's a part of me in denial that this is the project that taken 5 years to release. It's not bad by any means (Blank Face reference 💀), but I feel like it could've been executed much better. But I don't know maybe it's not an instant classic. Maybe if I come back to it in 3 or 4 month (or less) I would enjoy it more than I did!
EDIT: Well, I guessed this album grew on me insanely!

This album is fueled with emotions and thankfully at it's worst it's still an decent project.
070 Shake's debut album is an overall improvement coming from her 2018's EP. And it's crazy that I slept on this album the time it came out. Overall an dreamy and spacey experience.
I don't know who told Cudi that building your songs around mostly drums is a good idea. Like, there's not anything going on instrumentally on most of these. Therefore it becomes quiet annoying. I really listened to it with a open mind, and still felt there's a lot wrong with this record.
