Thriller - Michael Jackson
5/14/2026
Sure it’s the most popular album ever, but dont forget folk, just because its popular doesnt mean its bad. Matter fact this is pretty amazing. Quincy Jones’ disco style and overall production combined with Michaels harmony and vocal power just makes this a hit. This is an album everyone can at least enjoy. Also being one of the most popular albums ever, I don’t know one single person who hasnt heard of this, and quite honestly, I dont think ... read more
Red - King Crimson
4/19/2026
Red is King Crimson at their most stripped down, with only three core members, yet they sound at their fullest, creating some of the best songs in rock history. Red is brilliantly crafted, Robert Fripp’s guitar work, Bill Bruford’s drums, and John Wetton’s vocals, all collide perfectly to make this. Red is what happens when a band strips everything ... read more
808s & Heartbreak - Kanye disc dive (4/12)
4/2/26
A complete switch up from his first three, more autotune then rap, more electronic synth beats then chipmunk soul. Kanye turns more to pop music, and it may not seem that great, but this was made almost 20 years ago, and it still stands as the blueprint for modern pop. This album still is influencing an entire generation of artists, and the next one to come.

Graduation - Kanye disc dive (3/12)
4/1/26
Graduation, the final part of the college trilogy, as it is the most commercially successful, because he twists what he’s been previously doing: adding electronic instruments, soul samples, but more digital, like synths, and drums. Kanye finishes his trilogy with something unique, as the first two were better (but mostly the same all around), he switches it up. The album is very positive, tons of braggadocio and boasting. West proves he can ... read more
Late Registration - Kanye disc dive (2/12)
4/1/26
Late Registration is the second part in Kanye’s College trilogy, and mostly resumes what the College Dropout brought, chipmunk soul samples, conscious bars about society, and great music overall. I do like the quiet layering Jon Brion adds to this album, like an orchestra, or keys, compared to the rawness of West’s first album, which might be why I rated higher than TCD, or it could be higher quality songs, but I do fw this album ... read more
