This is just the beginning of Devon Hendryx
I've known this album for a while and I remember rating it as "8.?", now that I listen again, I realize it isn't what it seems. Devon raps the best on this album like he has been in the game for decades. He thinks and talks as a teenager and raps like a old man. But this is only young Devon and there is more to come. After Devon comes JPEGMAFIA and this album is still one of his best, I would say even top 3. Nothing really ... read more
MAGDELENA BAY!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE US ANOTHER ALBUM AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!
I really did want to listen to this but I don't know what's wrong with it. The beat on top of Danny's flow was straight nonsense and it make my stomach growl, it was horrible. I was never the biggest fan of Danny Brown's voice nor his flow, so both of them compacted with each other made me "eh". I like Danny, but he's not for me. He is meant for insufferable white people. Also this beat is kinda trash.
GOOD NOODLES EVERY DAY
80 years is diabolical but it's fine because he earned street cred. This mixtape is full of nostalgia, I'd say music like this made my childhood, as I grew up in the NYC. I am a good kid though. Gotta Blast is one of the different songs on this tape where it actually has features on it and the beat is a little different. It is my favorite on the album and the producer, Luci4 is pretty known within the community so it grown on me.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Schlagenheim is the coolest made-up word ever
black midi made me proud to be a little British. The 4 men group comes through with their debut with such roughness that it really is hard to withstand. Starting from 953 to Ducter, there isn't one moment of calmness. All about this LP is perfectly crafted, the chords with the guitar and bass coming from Cam, Geordie, and Matt. The drums, best drums I have ever heard. No one like ... read more
My friend showed this to me, I have no idea how he found it but I am glad I heard it.
How can something sound so lush but so harsh at the same time?
Pain to Power is one of the albums I have been waiting for a while, ever since I listened to all their EP's. I gave all of them 9/10s with Knocknarea being my favorite. Now they have completed my mindset about them, they are not here to play and they WILL be here for a while. Everything impressive about them is everything you would want in a rock album. Coming from the windmill scene, I am NOTHING but non-surprised. The 4 ... read more
why is this so underrated?
What the hell????????
Let me talk about the last song for a little moment. The ending track "Rest Stop" is a complete creepypasta, it sorta reminds me of Doki Doki Literature Club, which is one of my favorite games. I love it, but it is just insanely creepy coming from her. Never would've expected something eerie to come out of this, but I love the atmosphere. I love it here. The album has one of the best production I have heard from an album in a long time, it is absolutely ... read more

What else should I say about this album?
London trio coming from the Brixton Pub continues to show why they are the most deranged band in the world. Not one single moment in this album is what you would call "calm and collected". But seeing this album cover and the name of their band, I don't know what you expected. That is the absolute genius of these 3 young British lads, not only their thinking does nothing but blow my mind, but it is their playing. Geordie Greep, ... read more
Slow and steady
Elliott Smith, the singer-songwriter delivers a melancholic LP for everyone to cry to. I see why it is top 100 albums of all time, but let's go even better with it being top 70. I find this album very emotional and unbelievable but it didn't fit up to my expectations. The first 2 tracks compliment the album very well to me, he flows very well on them. To me, he doesn't keep it up in the rest of the album. Don't get me wrong, this is a great album, it just ... read more
An album full of existential crisis
This lush hardcore piece of work from 2012 by the 4-man squad, Title Fight depicts their own battles. This is all hardcore back to front, 1st track to 11th track. What you should always want in a rock album is in this 32 minute LP. All of the vocalists are completely out their mind when it comes to their lines and vocal notes. Their debut album is full of riffs I have never heard before, the best ones are the ones in Leaf and In-Between. The riffs make my ... read more
I saw Anthony Fantano react to this, he said it was great. I should've known AOTY users would overhype this. Don't get me wrong, it still a great song, it just isn't a 9/10 with 1.2k ratings. If Anthony didn't say it was good, the score would be a 80.
Babybaby
One of the great Alternative R&B sounds of this time. His voice is very expressive when it comes to the emotion he is trying to portray in the song. He is a powerful singer if I do say so myself, that's all of the R&B I need to hear. Although I lack to hear the Neo-Psychedelia sounds in the album, I still hear his tryout.
He's back with a great attitude and a great album.
Earl Sweatshirt, the prominent member of the hip hop collective Odd Future is completely back and better and it looks like we are all enjoying his return. The instrumentals are how it always been, great chopped beats that we will never know what the sample is. We all know he is important to the rap game, he's lyricism and producing style makes him stand out to the rest of the Abstract Hip Hop genre. He still needs some assistance ... read more
