Okay first listen like 5 minutes ago.
I thought this was pretty decent. SOPHIE invites us into a dark, otherworldy dance club. Athmospheric and rich in sound. This does not sound like what i was expecting, and i am happy that it doesent. As individual vignettes, “romance” is solid, striking and horny as fuck. As a complete work tho, its disjointed.

Such a pretty soundtrack. Can stand alone outside the movie. And its of course, amazing in context of the movie (wich is a beutifull masterpiece).
The ending left me speechless. Paladin Strait is a beutifull closer. Finally escaping dema. A hell. Being free. This album is not like trench. Its a counterpoint to it. I feel like this record isnt for non fans. Its a celebration of growth. Of matureing. Finding the light. Fighting back. Clancy is a perfect title. This record inspired hope. Im very moved. On a first listen, this is proberbly the least interesting swans album i have heard so far.
I have listened to this one and a half times (currently listening). This might be blasphemy, But on future listens, one might Discovery that this is their best album… Im just saying…
