You know what?
I somewhat enjoyed this.
Harsh noise has always been a bit of an odd genre for me. I enjoy noise, but harsh noise just felt like too much.
Night of the Bloody Tapes somehow succeeds in creating such a scary, weird atmosphere that the harsh element somewhat fades into the background, allowing the listener to soak in the heavy, uneasy atmosphere it creates.
Untitled 2 and 3 were probably the most interesting tracks. Sometimes you hear clicks, noises, things that are out of the ... read more
Classic DSBM record from Xasthur.
Oddly enough I really enjoyed the intro tracks.
I found about half of this album's tracks to be lacking. The tracks that weren't lacking were great.
Brutal mathcore.
Crazy riffs, intense drums, basically everything about this album is taken to the limit.
It's a mess, but it's a good mess.
There's a couple filler tracks but the tracks that shine are REALLY good.
JPEG and Danny is a killer combo.
Chaotic, weird, unpredictable and odd.
Very interesting, had a grip on me from the very start.
I don't get it.
There's a couple of good riffs and tracks here and there, but this just feels so boring.
Lots of build-ups, and for what? One short riff, a scream and it's done?
I don't know man, it just feels so damn boring.
Damn good.
Storytelling is immaculate. Kendrick exposing his most vulnerable sides.
WTF is Drunk and Hot Girls, man???
Very good, but a bit more inconsistent and less bangers than his first 2.
HE MADE GRADUATION.
HE MADE GRADUATION.
HE MADE GRADUATION.
HE MADE GRADUATION.
Banger after banger.
It's classic Kanye.
Slightly more chill compared to his debut.
Addiction is hella underrated.
Holy.
Good shit.
Very gloomy, painful and anguished. Filled with emotions.
Extremely enjoyable instrumentals.
Mostly mid.
Stay With Me and Goodbye are solid.
I see a lot of potential. Reminds me a lot of classic Kanye.
Very repetitive.
Oddly enough I don't hate that. It's great, and the repetitiveness really hits you somehow.
Super fun, great vocals, great instrumentation.
Fuzzy production, and that's my only real complaint, as everything just sounds a bit TOO smashed together.
It's techdeath.
Some tracks are fun, I loved the first 2 tracks, Destroyer and The Ancients of Shattered Thrones.
Otherwise it's solid but nothing stunning.
Pretty damn good.
Great atmosphere. This whole album just feels right, from the album, to the production, vocals, etc.
It really nails down the atmosphere front.
Average instrumentation, but those piano interludes were very beautiful.
God the first 3 tracks are great.
Everything else feels bolierplate as hell. I just wish they were more creative with this.
I don't think marketing this whole album as "Trench 2" was a great idea.
I understand that it's "Trench 2" sort of lore-wise, but sound-wise, it's barely similar.
Another impressive project from Uboa.
Harrowing and scary.
The dark ambient element serves as a great break between the horrific, noisy, occasionally metal-inspired sections.
Yet the ambience remains scary somehow.
Holy hell.
This is most probably AOTY.
Absolutely masterful jazz fusion.
Funky, jazzy, complex, layered, emotional.
This album had me ascending, feeling ethereal.
Insanely nasty saxophone.
Go listen, now!!!
