Filled with misanthropy, cynicism and brutality, "The Holy Bible" is one of, if not the most unique albums to come out of the British music scene in 1994. It perfects illustrates the mental state the entire band was in, but particularly Richey Edwards's mental state before his unfortunate disappearance.
Fav Tracks: ifwhiteamerica..., Archives of Pain, 4st 7lb
Least Fav: She is Suffering (Still an amazing track, but I don't always feel like listening to it)
An amazing album with a few skippable tracks, but even those that are skippable have their place on here. The sound has a tension that perfectly reflects the state of the band at the time.
Fav Tracks: The Wild Ones, The 2 Of Us, The Asphalt World
Least Favs: The Power, Black Or Blue
I've listened to this so much every time I see a ghostbusters CD I think it's gonna be this
Genuinely super fun to listen to I love Joel but I gotta give it a 69 for the shitty midi
A raw and emotional look into addiction through the eyes of someone who's life was sadly cut short by it, Dirt is one of the highs of the grunge genre for me. Despite this album not being perfect in my eyes, it does so much right to invoke the hopeless and isolating feelings that addiction brings.
Fav Tracks: Them Bones, Down In a Hole, Junkhead, Would?
Least Fav: Hate to Feel
