A bit of an identity crisis on this album. A year and a half after dropping the energetic and iconic Enemy of the World, they drop this absolutely forgettable album. It isn't terrible by any means, but it's definitely overshadowed by the album before it and after it. They tried doing something different: stripping back their synths for a "more mature sound", but it just ends up sounding generic. Some decent songs, but nothing earth shattering.

I have a lot of thoughts, but I’ll try to keep it brief. I am an outspoken enjoyer of Planet Zero. While I oppose what it stands for, I think it’s musically a pretty solid album. Tasty little EP. Not a lot of notes, it's just good. Keeps up the energy of Broken Machine going into Moral Panic. Fun times, that's all.
Favourite track: Forever & Ever More
Standout tracks: it's a 4 track EP
Pretty solid first outing. It was a nice and relaxing experience, and I need that sometimes. Although I do prefer the energy they bring later on in there library, this album still has enough for me to enjoy it. It isn't always about energy, sometimes you just gotta sit back and take it all in.
Favourite track: Hostage
Standout tracks: Excuse Me, Itch, Painkiller
I'm rewriting my review for this album because I've come around on it a bit. It's an improvement production-wise from their first EP and I feel like it's just easier to follow. I didn't really appreciate the instrumental work on my first review, but it's a highlight for me now. It makes me wonder where the band goes from here.
This was a recommendation.
